The floor approached far to quickly for his liking, with a umph, Hiccup
received a mouthful of dirt as his face an entire body was pushed
against the floor, as if he would do anything! His heart raced, and his
blood boiled. He was angry at himself for his stupidity for believing
that there had actually been other night fury's on this island, instead
it had proved to be nothing but a trap. Out of the corner of his eyes,
he could see Toothless pinned to the floor, the net binding him and
coiling around him; fear for his friend was evident, yet Hiccup would be
struck down by Thor if they thought he was about to beg like some
weakling. With an apologetic look towards his friend rough hands grabbed
him, hauling him to his feet; where Hiccups hands were bound. With
shaky steps he stumbled forwards as he was partly pushed and dragged,
why had he not seen this coming? Why had he not gone with some others?

Glancing
to the sky he just hoped at least Astrid would find him.. until then,
Hiccup had to do what he could to keep both he and Toothless alive. As
they walked on.. for what seemed like hours at most Hiccup could see
Toothless ahead who continued to struggle at one point it had even
looked like, Toothless had the upper hand yet he was once again quickly
overwhelmed. Glancing towards the beast of the man who stood beside him,
known as Alvin Hiccup spoke. "Setting up a trap? Sure, I would of thought it clever if I knew that you weren't getting any help. So? Who helped you then?"
before an answer could be given however and whilst Alvin gloated at the
'compliment', which he had clearly not yet worked out that it was
really meant as an insult. Hiccup was shoved along, cell after cell they
passed, each of which held a dragon.. such as The Whispering death,
Scauldren.. deadly nadder.. it appeared as if Alvin had collected every
species there was. Whilst his mind raced, and as he pointed out various
things that would need to be corrected, before long Hiccup's hands were
unbound and he was shoved into a cell of his own-

That was when a
sudden cold breeze erupted, engulfing him and sucking the wind straight
from him. The ground beneath him shifted and before he knew it, in a
flash of bright light Hiccup was blinded.. Shielding his eyes out of
instinct he awaited the sound of rushing wind to stop until he finally
peaked out from under his arm.. before him stood the vast blue carpet
that was the ocean, although the wind whistled a haunting tune, Hiccup
blinked.. what had just happened? Back peddling suddenly as he became
aware of the sudden drop, Hiccup landed on his behind, panting softly.
This.. this was surreal impossible even! His mind was a whirl wind of
thoughts and emotions, where was he? where was Toothless? Panic settled
in as he scrambled to his feet and yelled his friends name at the top of
his lungs. All he got back was a echo of a boy. He had to do something!
He couldn't just.. disappear like that! It went against all logic!
Instead he raised his hand towards the sky "Why? Why did you do this? So help me Thor I'll..I'll-"
He sighed, he'd what? what could he do? just then a soft voice behind
him caused him to jump a foot in the air, as he turned there stood a
figure clad in black, he couldn't yet work out if it was male or female,
or if he could even trust them.

"Hello" The
figure said, a she most certainly. Her tone was soft and he could of
sworn he'd seen the flicker of a full mouth of pristine white teeth..
There didn't appear to be anything menacing about her.. sure she was
dressed in black but she appeared unarmed.
"Um..Hello?" Hiccup replied, in which the woman's smile grew wider,
"It is nice to see you, we have been waiting some time, You are in Tenebrae and are currently at our shore" The
woman said, tone gentle as she approached, although wary Hiccup
relaxed.. a breath he didn't realize he had been holding left him in a
soft whoosh.
"Ten-what?" He questioned, well he certainly
wasn't anywhere he knew of.. but then what was this place how had he
even got here? For a long moment questions were passed back and forth,
before he was very kindly being escorted away by the woman.. and two
others whom had joined her. "Heh.. talk about security issues" He mused, the woman beside him merely smiled "Do they ever talk? I think they need a holiday you know.."
He continued to ramble, which was often what Hiccup did whenever he
felt unsure about anything. Before long, Hiccup had arrived at a tall
building, one that he had never seen the likes of, with his mouth open
wide he was in awe.. he barely had time to ask any more questions,
before he was escorted inside.

From there he was shown to a
room, it was bigger than his room back home.. but the lady had ensured
him that they'd help find his friend, and with it ensure that he was
looked after. What he didn't know was the fact that he was in for a very
very long time of education, education which he had never received. At
least not the type that involved Maths or English. However, because he
was a Hiccup.. brains were his only weapon, along with his left arm
which was rather nifty at sword fighting. As he turned around, to ask
yet more questions he blinked.. the figures had disappeared. With a
sigh, Hiccup was surprised at the fact he had remained so calm, as he
made his way towards the desk there was a subtle knock at the door.

Having subtly knocked, Hiro figured he was probably clear to open the door. He shifted the bag that was weighing down his left side and leaned in, pushing open the door. He then cautiously stuck his head inside the room, looking about at the mostly blank dorm room. At least figuring out who to give the bag too wouldn't be that hard: it had to be the only guy who apparently lived in here. And he must have just arrived too: the utter lack of anything resembling a personal possession was something of a give-away.

"Uh, hi," offered Hiro. He moved to stand fully in the doorway, again shifting the dufflebag. It collided with the pair of swords he had slung over his shoulders: katanas in their sheaths. Other than that, however, he looked more or less like your normal Asian teenager: blue jeans and a generic blue t-shirt covering his chest. He did stand a lot straighter than ye average teen would probably stand, and there was something a little tense in the way he carried himself. Nothing too unusual though, especially not for a teen used to a warrior culture.

"I'm Hiro," offered Hiro, extending the arm not carrying the bag. "I live down the hall. Room nine. They, uh, gave me this," he hefted the duffel, "but I think it's for you? It looks kind of like the bag they gave me when I got here. You know, clothes and stuff," he peered down at it for a moment, before looking up. "I didn't really look too close though."

He paused then, shuffling awkwardly. Should he just ask to come in? Or... wait, maybe...?

Before Hiccup had the chance to open the door it silently swung open, in the threshold stood a boy, perhaps no older than himself clad in blue. At first, Hiccup didn't know what to say.. it wasn't everyday you got whisked away to new world.. or at least that was what he had guess had happened from what the woman in black had told him. Standing there for long moment, staring at the stranger dressed in the peculiar clothes; so much different from his fur lined coat, and his green tunic. After a moment, Hiccup blinked realizing that he had in fact been spoken too.

"Oh.. uh, hello" He said his mind swimming still and reeling with ideas, there must be some more information about this place somewhere. Looking at the duffel bag that the boy held, Hiccup noted the clung of metal.. sword or axes no doubt? Stepping forward he hesitantly took the bag, that was perhaps bigger than his torso. With a heave he held it, the fact that he had little muscle really didn't make holding it any easier. Making his way towards the newly made bed, Hiccup dumped the bag on it, before turning to face the boy again.

"Um.. thanks for the bag I think? although I'm pretty sure I didn't.. ask for it." he shrugged before he then realized the boy was still standing in his door way. "Oh! Sorry come in..heh" he offered as he then opened the duffel bag.. tipping the contents out onto the bed he stared at it.. what were all those shiny things? and the weird looking material? and what were those things that looked like leather with .. laces. Picking the item up by his finger tips he gazed at it, in confusion. What was he supposed to do with all this stuff?

Putting it back down, confusion clear across his face. Hiccup turned to the boy. "This may sound stupid but, I don't suppose you know where I am..? I mean this building? I just got dropped here, and before I knew it those.. people in black-" he gestured to the air beside the boy "- had disappeared" he stated, as he looked blankly to the boy, only to the realize his lack of manner. "Hiccup!... I mean, Hiccup's my name aha.." he said with a somewhat awkward rub of his neck.

Hiro easily handed over the bag, watching carefully as Hiccup staggered with it. The blue-clad boy couldn't help but feel a slight pang at seeing Hiccup stagger like that. The bag hadn't been all that heavy for Hiro, but Hiro was fairly well built; came from the whole ninja training thing, which he still felt like doing. He opted to rub at the back of his neck, again wondering if he should perhaps ask.

Thankfully, Hiccup seemed to notice and invited Hiro in. Hiro nodded and stepped in, answering Hiccup's question as he did: "I don't think they really care if you want it or not. They just sort of... give it to you. They shoved stuff at me too," he shrugged. Hiro didn't quite understand everything that was going on, and he figured he had enough to worry about. The flashes of memory and the whole fact that he was pretty sure he had a false name certainly weren't helping matters. He studied Hiccup's room casually, though still paying attention to what the other boy said.

"It's, like, money and stuff," he offered, fixing his gaze on the bag and its new owner. "Clothes, mostly. You're lucky you didn't show up naked. All I had were these," he jerked a thumb toward the katanas. As he processed Hiccup's question, Hiro crossed his arms and took a deep breath, releasing it slowly. "Boy, am I not the best person to ask. We're, uh, in Tenebrae, loosely. This is the dorms for everyone under some age thing," he waved a hand again, "the people in black suck. And gesundheit?"

This last was a question as he looked to Hiccup, his brows crinkling slightly in confusion. Wait, was that supposed to be a name...? Hiro supposed he shouldn't be talking, given what he'd selected as his own nickname but...

"Did your parents hate you or something?" came out before he could really control it. "I mean... Hiccup?"

"Really? Well.. they could of I dunno, left instructions with it..or maybe left a note you know like, 'Hey, here is some stuff for you that you need in a new place where nothing make sense, so here is some items that also make no sense" he commented, his tone filled with sarcasm as was his usual reply in situations where he didn't know what else to say. Yes, sarcasm was his secret weapon. For a moment Hiccup observed the blue material that looked liked trousers.. but they didn't feel like them, and they smelt funny. What was that smell? Wrinkling his nose, Hiccup rummaged through the rest of the items there were some books, that he was please about, and some blank books that he could draw in.

Then there were items.. that looked like pencils, but some of them were different colors. It was really unlike anything he had seen before. In reply to his question the boy spoke, dorms? what were dorms? Looking confused for a moment Hiccup decided not to question that part, he'd probably find out in his own way.. he often did he was a Hiccup after all. Just then, the boy spoke of his name of course Hiccup hadn't expected such a question; as where he came from everyone knew what a Hiccup was. Still, Hiccup was reminded by the boys odd accent and dress sense that he wasn't on berk.

"Um.. well no, see we Vikings.. are given names that are supposed to scare dragons and all manor of creatures..only I was born.. with a LOT less muscle and height so those like me get called Hiccup. My full name is Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III" He stated and proudly at that. He for once in his life was proud to be a Hiccup, having spent many years wishing to be more, he was finally happy with who he was, after all. Look at all he had done, all he had accomplished, only a Hiccup could of done that. Grabbing an arm full of book, Hiccup carried them towards his desk, and idly took note of the fact that one of the books just so happened to have the word Dragon in the title.

Shaking his head, Hiccup looked back to the boy as he organized his desk space, setting out the pens. "How long have you been here? I can't say I know anyone, but then I just got here heh.." he commented stating the obvious which was yet again another trade mark trait of his.

"Tell me about it. You think this is bad, try being one of the 'Victims of Reality Displacement,'" Hiro used the air quotes, "who doesn't remember stuff. I'm lucky I remembered half a name," Hiro rolled his eyes. He definitely felt exactly what Hiccup was feeling. He hadn't exactly been there all that long himself, though he at least had the advantage of somehow remembering how nearly everything worked. He understood pants, for one thing, and he nearly grinned at Hiccup smelling them.

Hiro moved to lean/sit against the desk they'd provided for the room, a necessity for students, awkwardly getting into a decent position. He folded his arms over his chest and watched, the amusement growing, as Hiccup continued sorting through things. Again, Hiro couldn't help but be thankful that he'd at least understood what most of that stuff was.

The amusement turned into interest as Hiccup explained his origin. Something in the back of Hiro's mind pinged at the thought of Vikings. Warriors, sea-faring types, known for savagery and all that. He quickly looked Hiccup over and soon began to understand quite fully the explanation the guy gave. Still, Hiccup seemed a tad cruel, even if the Hiccup in question was something of a bean pole. Being thing and scraggly didn't mean you couldn't fight or help out. Why, Hiro could remember... someone... someone tall who wasn't the best fighter but was... close...?

He shook his head, looking up at Hiccup just as the other youth looked to him. There were questions, but these were thankfully the sort that Hiro could answer: "I've only been here about a week or so. So, yeah, totally understand what you mean. The only person I know is my roommate and he's... closemouthed. Nice guy though." Hiro shrugged, then tapped his foot against the desk. "So, Viking... did a lot of sailing and fighting and stuff? That sounds... cool."

Hiccup listened to the boy, as he continued about his process of organization. Yes, Hiccup was organized and was perhaps the only one within his tribe who was. As Hiro explained his circumstance, Hiccup nodded; well didn't that sound familiar? The only difference was Hiccup could remember everything.. right down to the opening of the cell door. Yet, he was calm he went about his business as if this was a natural occurrence maybe there was something wrong with him? and Toothless? what of Toothless? if he hadn't felt so drained both mentally and physically then he would of been out there looking for his friend, as it was now he'd have to wait until morning..

It was a pity that time didn't hurry. As he placed each book upon his desk and lined them up Hiccup glanced to the boy whom questioned him at that moment about his adventures. In truth Hiccup wanted to laugh "Hah.. what sailing? and what fighting? nope my dad, the tribe leader placed me with Gobber, I haven't done much sailing.. as for fighting? well I'd like to think I'm pretty good with my left hand?" he commented idly. Hiccup had done no sailing, flying yes, sailing no his lesson from Gobber about how to be a pirate had not gone down at all too well. In fact Hiccup hated sailing, the very idea of it made his stomach churn. He didn't exactly get sea sick so much he just didn't like it.

Which was yet another reason why he was often left behind whilst his father and the rest of the tribe went sailing. Yep, Hiccup was nothing but a hindrance according to his father. "Trust me, me on a boat? bad idea, no I much prefer the flying part." he stated idly as if he was talking to one of his companions back on berk, "There is a reason I don't sail, Hiccup the useless, is what I get called. Sometime I couldn't agree more i make things worse at times." he chuckled as he withdrew the last book, this one from the inside of his fur coat. It was a smaller book than the rest, leather bound and black. The pages showed signs of discoloration along with many years of turning and handling. Unlike the rest of his book, Hiccup placed this one down with care upon the window sill for the time being.

"A week? you seem to of settled down quickly then? All I know is as soon as it's morning I'm out of here.. I need to find a very close friend of mine.." He commented with a glint of determination evident within his eyes.

Hiro had to snort at Hiccup's comments. Sarcasm was something the other teenager understood all too well, though he wasn't nearly as adept at using it as Hiccup apparently was. Hiro was, however, relatively good at picking up at the bitterness behind the words; he nearly winced at the pure venom he could detect in Hiccup's tone. Clearly someone wasn't happy with his life as a Viking... which, again, Hiro sort of understood. He had some memory of being trapped somewhere... maybe?

"I'm apparently a ninja myself," offered Hiro, shrugging. "So, pretty good at fighting. Not sure where I got it though," he commented, adding yet another shrug. He liked to think that the whole not knowing thing wasn't driving him nuts, but Hiro wasn't sure if his memory would ever come back. He wasn't sure he really cared either; most of the flashes weren't... pleasant. Hiccup might complain, but Hiro couldn't help but feel like he maybe had it worse than the other guy, if just.

"Wait, flying?" sputtered Hiro. He snapped his head up, eyes widened for a moment, before looking to Hiccup. Hiccup had already moved on, however, talking about settled in. On that, Hiro had to snort. "Good luck with that. From what I've heard, we're stuck here. I haven't tried it though..." Hiro paused, letting the words hang for a bit, before looking to Hiccup. "Hey, if you want, I can try to help you get out. I mean, I don't want to leave myself, but you seem cool," Hiro shrugged. "Figure I might as well help, at least."

"Ninja? can't say I know what one is..." He commented, flashing Hiro an apologetic look, and why would he know? the only thing Hiccup had ever know was the idea of blood thirsty, dim witted vikings with a rather large belly that would wobble when they laughed. A viking appearance alone was enough to send men running for the hill, although to a dragon it probably looked like a nice plump chicken ready for roasting. For that, Hiccup was glad that he resembled a fish bone, there wasn't much meat on him, all but gristle. When the boy mentioned that he was good at fighting too Hiccup nodded, he wouldn't be surprised Hiro had that air about him, like he knew how to handle himself. With that thought fresh in his mind, Hiccup's gaze flickered to the sheathed weapons on the boys back.. they looked deadly alright.

Just then, when Hiro commented about flying, Hiccup paused, and was quick to adjust himself "Yeah.. you know.. flying the flag and all that.. so much more easier." he covered himself, the last thing he wanted any one to know was that dragons were involved, for starters he didn't even know what they thought about dragons.. he didn't particularly want more people like Alvin sniffing out his trail. What surprised him next however was the boys sudden offer at helping him. "Really..? You'd help me? Why would you want to stay here? I can't imagine it's much fun? what about the idea of adventure?" Hiccup questioned curious now. He had been here for no more than an hour and already the sight of the place was driving him mad, not to mention the constant worry over his friends safety.

Nodding none the less, Hiccup offered Hiro a bright grin. "Okay, if your sure then." Nodding with thanks, Hiccup wondered over towards the bed once again, his prosthetic metal leg clicking and squeaking as he walked. Rummaging through the bag he found a few items (ties, not that he knew that)and begun to examine them closely, testing their strength idly an idea begun to form within his mind, yet for now he put that, and the tie's aside. "So.. what is is actually like here? so far there doesn't seem t be anything that special about it." he commented with a shrug as he sat down upon the bed, and bounced lightly. Well it was certainly more comfortable than the one back on Berk.

"We are supposed to be masters at keeping to the shadows," replied Hiro, chuckling at that and running a hand through his hair. For some reason, that action felt strange, and Hiro found himself running the hand through it a couple of times, possibly enjoying it far more than he should. After realizing this, he lowered it slowly, coughing and actually answering the question: "We're sort of stealth fighters from Japan. Stay to the shadows, use martial arts and defeat our enemies and all."

Another flash hit Hiro as he explained... something about having to reiterate that point again and again to his brothers. They were ninjas; they were supposed to stick to the shadows, not let people see them. Hang back, be stealthy, do what sensei tells you to...

Thankfully, Hiro was very quickly learning to deal with these flashes. He blinked several times, but remained focused on Hiccup as he explained. Somehow, he didn't quite buy the whole "flying the flag" thing, but at the same time, he didn't exactly want to pry. If Hiccup wanted to keep something a secret, that was Hiccup's prerogative. Unless it became a problem, or maybe until it became a problem, then Hiro saw no point in digging. instead, he focused on the whole "helping" thing, nodding. "Yeah, I... kinda feel like that's my thing. Helping people who need it. Besides, I could use some action, something to do, and you--" remind me of someone. The words flashed into Hiro's mind, but he didn't say them, instead letting the statement hang for a bit. "You seem like a cool guy."

A repetition, sure, but safe. Hiro shrugged again, hoping that he'd maintained his cool. Heroes were supposed to keep their cool at all times. He met the grin with a half-smile of his own, pleased that he was gonna help someone. As for the questions: "Kind of normal, actually," Hiro said, turning toward Hiccup's window. "I think that's the thing. The only special thing is that we all keep getting pulled here. So, special in that there's all of us, but otherwise... kinda normal. And it's... nice."

Which is why Hiro wanted to stay, more or less. Why not? he didn't remember anything to get back to, and he still couldn't quite shake the feeling that this was where he needed to be.

"You got a plan for figuring things out? Or are you going with the whole 'make it up as I go along' school of thought?"

As Hiro explained all about what it was he did, Hiccup found himself fascinated. Keeping to the shadows? they sounded like some.. magical being, the fact that all vikings were extreamly superstitious, this new found information was only confirming Hiccups beliefs. No one could keep to the shadows if they were human.. could they? Memorized by such information Hiccup, merely stared at the boy for a long moment.. no way was any of what he was saying possible.. martial arts? Hiccup would definitely have to take note of it later. He was here for no more than a few hours and already he was learning so many new things. He could hardly believe any of it was real, that he was actually here. If this was just one person.. imagine how many more there were with such odd backgrounds and.. talents?

A haze seemed to cross the boys face, at first Hiccup frowned was he alright? Opening his mouth to speak, and before any words could come out Hiro spoke again; clearly un-phased by what had just happened. Curious to say the least, for now Hiccup left it at that, it wasn't really any of his business anyway, not to mention they had only just met. The fact that the boy the boy before him was so willing to help, made everything seem easier, at least they weren't some barbaric tribe that ate people. Shivering at the thought Hiccup grinned, he was indeed very grateful "Well.. perhaps I can return the favor some time? I would owe you that much at least." he commented as the grin remained across his lips. Seem like a cool guy? Well Hiccup had no idea what that meant, for he was pretty sure he was warm, but still it sounded like some form of compliment? and compliments where very rare when given to Hiccup.

Hiro then spoke of what it was like here, to which Hiccup merely frowned.. well that didn't sound like fun. Then again, what Hiccup wouldn't give for a 'normal' day, every day on berk was anything but normal to say the least.  "Hmm, well that sounds okay, but does it not get you know.. repetitive?" Hiccup questioned, he found all of this fascinating but he knew he'd go mad with the same thing every day, he was a viking! He lived for adventure and adrenaline pumping activities! He wouldn't know what to do with himself if all of that was taken away. At any rate, Hiccup decided to pry no more, Hiro seemed happy right? so there was no reason for him to dig any deeper; no matter how much he may of liked too.

"You got a plan for figuring things out? Or are you going with the whole 'make it up as I go along' school of thought?"

Now that was a good question, Hiccup usually had a rough idea.. but in a place he didn't know with people around that he didn't know.. it would make things ten times harder. "uh.. no, No I don't have a plan...I think I'll just make it up as a I go.. tends to work better for me.. well most of the time." he laughed awkwardly.

Hiro shrugged, "Sure, that works," he wasn't entirely sure what favor this guy could do for him, but for all Hiro knew, Hiccup had some strange power. Maybe he could burp with amazing power or something; that would explain the weird name, after all. There did seem to be a sort of confident ease about the scraggly youth, the kind of ease that you earned from doing something and doing it well. Hiro's mind quickly jumped back to the bit about flying... maybe flags were a big deal for Vikings?

As for the situation, again, Hiro shrugged. "Maybe," he admitted, "but there's new people showing up every day, and they've always got their own stuff. Just think, your first day here, you met a ninja," he flashed a moderately confident grin, "and, like, in my first week, I got to meet my first viking. So there's still enough weird to keep us going, yeah?"

A nod, and Hiro settled back, waiting to hear what Hiccup had in mind. Again, the leaner Asian boy couldn't help but feel like the other guy seemed like some sort of idea guy. Yet another flash quickly blitzed through Hiro's mind... someone lanky and... purple? Well, that barely made sense. Thankfully, Hiro didn't even let that one phase him, merely blinking it away in the moment. It certainly helped that Hiccup had offered a response to the question, one that made Hiro chuckle.

"Hey, that sometimes works," he agreed. He stretched, pushing slightly against the desk. "we could always try heading for the town border. I hear that people get tossed back or whatever as they get close to the edge, but I've never tried it. Besides, most people aren't, you know," he pointed at Hiccup, "a Viking," at himself, "and a ninja," another confident nod, Hiro looking every bit the kind of guy you could depend on.

Hiccup nodded, owing the boy a favor was the least Hiccup could do.. even though he wasn't too sure what he could do. Still, it was the offer that counted right? As he listened Hiccup found this spot of information useful, so new people came everyday? despite knowing that it really didn't bring him any closer to working out where exactly they were..Roman Empire maybe.. or what about America.. he had heard stories about America from Old Wrinkly.. the place where the forbidden-vegetable-that-no-one-dare-speak of.. namely the Potato grew. Was that possible? had he really crossed the sea in a split second? If so.. how? how had he done that and how would he return home?

Hiccup had to admit, meeting a ninja was certainly something that didn't happen every day, Hiccup had only ever really known about tribes, other vikings or those in America named 'the feather people' and The Romans. To think there were other types of.. people and cultures out there was mind boggling. "Well I suppose you wouldn't get bored with all that.. well.. first things first I NEED to find Toothless.. he'd probably be confused, and scared." Hiccup stated, as soon as he found Toothless then maybe he'd return.. after all there was still so much he could learn.. and his father would be so proud to know that his only son, a Hiccup of all sons had discovered an entirely new civilization with their strange clothes and colors.

As Hiccup thought of possible plans.. at least something basic to run on, he heard Hiro suggest the boarder.. there was a border? was that where you'd fall of the ends of the earth? Then Hiro commented about the edge, such words only made Hiccup wonder further, was the earth really flat? maybe Old Wrinkly had been wrong? Looking back to the boy Hiccup grinned. "Well.. it would be a start.. Toothless would probably try and hide somewhere he's clever like that, he can't fly on his own." Hiccup stated clearly concerned for his friend. He hoped Toothless was alright.. if he was here.. surely Toothless would be too.. right?

Hiro nodded at the assertion of non-boredom. While he hadn't been there long enough to make any definite calls, he certainly had the feeling that they weren't about to get bored any time soon. You put this many different people in one location, and things were bound to happen. However, Hiro stopped nodding when Hiccup got to the part that mentioned a Toothless. That... sounded like a pet, maybe? Then again, Hiccup was named Hiccup, so maybe Toothless was a sibling or something?

Siblings... yeah, that wasn't causing all sorts of flashes, especially of someone lanky who preferred purple and... a giant stick? Sometimes, Hiro really wished his memory was normal. He blinked yet again, refocusing back on Hiccup. The newcomer seemed to be taking Hiro's suggestion into consideration, which suited the ninja just fine. There was a grin and an agreement.

"Right, figured," said Hiro, nodding confidently again. "If your... friend is really clever, he might be sticking to the outskirts of town. So maybe you can do both: try and look for him and see about the border of town," Hiro took a deep breath, letting it out slowly as he turned to the window. "I'm not sure how the suits watch the border though. Everyone says they really don't want people to get out though. Definitely going to be tricky..." he trailed off, before looking back to Hiccup. "But you're a Viking, right? You can handle an adventure or a fight?"

Toothless was clever, yet he was also extreamly inquisitive, which made it even more important that they found him Thor forbid he ended up caught, or worse. The  very idea of anything happening to his friend caused Hiccup to shudder, he prayed for once Toothless would do the right thing, and that involved staying out of the way.. and laying low. Yet, if he knew Toothless that probably wasn't an option, his friend was extreamly protective Hiccup didn't dare think of what he might be doing..

When Hiro mentioned the boarder, Hiccup nodded; that would make sense of course.. yet it was certianly tempting fate to assume that Toothless would of stayed there.. the dragon could never usually stay in the same place for a large amount of time. That again was another excuse as to why Hiccup needed to find him. Just then Hiro asked him about handling an adventure and a fight.. the adventure part sure the fight part? Not so much. "Heh.. well.. let's hope it doesn't really come to that point.." he chuckled, nervously there was a reason he was named Hiccup after all.

"Okay so... these suits they watch the border all the time? do they not.. swap shifts or anything?" he questioned, if they did then that would prove of great use.. if not than Hiccup was really going to have to pull out all the stops here. At that moment he wanted to laugh, he had invaded Wild Dragon cliff.. faced all numbers of dragons of different types and faced up against Alvin and his entire outcast tribe, surely this shouldn't be any different..? right? Sucking in a breath, he blew it out in a steady breath as he willed his mind to put together some plan.

"Okay.. assuming the swap shifts then that would be our best time.. if they don't then.. we'd at least need some distraction to even get close enough..Maybe Toothless isn't that far.. if we get some fish.. then we'd find him in no time." Hiccup mumbled idly to himself before looking to the other boy. "Did you have any.. ideas?" He questioned.. Hiro had been around longer than him for starters which gave him the insight about how everything worked.
