"Figured," replied the suit that had asked Jasmine the question. She nodded, "You'll need to present your student ID next time. Shouldn't be a problem. And if you want more money, they're always looking for help around here. They're under orders to hire VRD's."
The suit flashed another smile, nodded, and then headed off to do her own thing. Which apparently meant checking in with head suit guy, who kept looking over at Twilight and Jasmine as if they were wild animals he'd like to have thrown into a zoo, a zoo where they would be protected and nurtured, certainly, but a zoo nonetheless.
Twilight just closed her eyes, already tired of looking and observing and all that. She wanted to rest. At Jasmine's inquiry, however, she creaked open an eye, rolling it up to look at her friend and then at the suits in general. The few medics were fidgeting, looking at one another as though none were quite ready to take command here. They kept looking the girls over too, though it was more like "this is a problem I'd rather someone else have" than anything else.
"We'll have to--" one began, but he was cut off as the guy with the shades called out: "They're good to go whenever. We've already got their identities processed."
Because that was a comforting thought. Twilight pushed against the wall, wobbling to her feet. The medic suits moved forward, and Twilight didn't feel like waving them off. In fact, she actually thanked one as she helped steady the wobbling unicorn-girl. "I'm going to need someone to walk me home," she admitted. "I've got a housemate who can help from there..."
The suits nodded, moving about to see who could manage this. Another medic nodded to Jasmine, letting her know that she was free to go anytime. Heck, they both were; Twilight just needed a little extra help.
