Fluttershy has very light-colored skin and long, wavy, light bubblegum pink hair that falls down several inches below her shoulders. A long, parted strand of her hair tends to fall over the corner of her eye and cover part of her face, but she rarely will ever brush it back or fix her hair up otherwise. Her eyes are a light blue/turqouise, which stand out slightly against her hair coloring and light face. Fluttershy is slightly smaller than the average height for girls her age and is thinly built with a fragile-looking appearance. Some of the projected fragility is in fact due to her build, but the majority of it is expressed through her very timid behavior and mannerisms. She will usually be caught avoiding others eye contact, staring at the ground, or fidgeting nervously and shying away from unwanted conversations and attention. Many might think that she appears younger than she actually is due to appearance and the way she behaves.
As for clothing, Fluttershy tends to like pastel colors and girly, feminine style outfits such a sundresses and ruffled tops. She doesn't like to attract attention with them though, and so her choices are usually leaning more toward simple or modest in coloring without too much over-the-top flair to them or bright, distracting patterns. Cute, but not flashy is the style choice that she prefers. Her makeup choices are also leaning more towards natural in general, with the exception of eyeliner and eyeshadow to bring out her eyes.
Personality:
Fluttershy is… well, as shy as her name implies. She is extremely timid and meek with a nervous nature. So timid, in fact, that she has difficulty summoning up the courage to talk to others at times and do things that she is not comfortable with. She is very quiet, and when she speaks to others her voice is hardly an audible whisper most of the time, which makes it difficult for people to understand or hear her. Despite this, she still gets slightly annoyed when they ignore her or miss what she is saying. It takes a lot to get her to actually yell something loud enough for everyone to hear.
Because of her shy personality, she is also a bit of a pushover, and will let people get away with things she doesn't agree with just to avoid confronting them. This has made her an object of bullying frequently in the past and even recently. Fluttershy is also naturally very sensitive to how other people treat her and the feelings of others. She can also be quite gullible through her willingness and desire to believe that everyone should be honest and good-intending and that she should be understanding to them, despite the reality of how people can truly behave.
Despite being shy and easily frightened, Fluttershy also has her good traits. For one, she is very kind to others once they get to know her and likes to help them when she can. She also really loves to take care of animals, as that was her special skill as a pony. Her skill with animal care-taking often has shown that she is more comfortable and confident around the animals than other people, even if the animals are very intimidating. She used to focus her work on helping animals in need and finding them suitable homes, and acquired many pets along the way through her endeavors. The one pet she had that she couldn't live without, however, was her pet rabbit, Angel. Fluttershy went out on limbs to make sure that he was taken care of.
Fluttershy is rarely seen in an angry mood outright, but when she is, it can be a frightening sight. She becomes downright hostile and demanding, which is probably due to having so much pent up upset emotions from people walking all over her all of the time, and of keeping her angry emotions bottled up and hidden away. It usually takes quite a few events to happen right after one another to cause her angry side to become unleashed and her timidness to disappear. Sometimes the things she is angry at don't seem very logical either. She once became angry that a group of palace animals wouldn't let her approach them, and eventually ended up trying to trap them and screaming at them insanely.
Her assertive side, if unleashed, is also very unpleasant. She tried being assertive once after taking the wrong guidance from a mentor, and ended up becoming a downright bully as she enjoyed the power she never had before as a timid mare. She went from being assertive for herself to demanding that she got what she wanted and putting everyone else down to get it. This is why her timid nature isn't always a bad thing, in moderation.
Her friends have caused Fluttershy to come out of her shell and comfort zone more than she ever would have without them. There is no doubt that for them (and usually because of them), she had to face many uncomfortable and often scary or risky situations in order to help. This hasn't necessarily made her less frightened, but it definitely has shown her that she can do things she never thought she had been able to do before. This shows that there is still hope for her to get past her fears, even though it make take some time to do so.

As a young pegasi filly, Fluttershy had a lot of trouble fitting into her flight training school in Cloudsdale. Her timidness was one problem, but the other was that she was extremely afraid of heights, and most of all pegasi spend their lives flying and living among the clouds in the sky. During her training, she fell off a cloud and would have crashed down a terrifying height to the ground, if she weren't saved by a thick swarm of butterflies that held her in the air. That day she saw what life was like on the ground for the first time and was amazed by the forest and numerous wildlife that lived there. She discovered that her special skill was helping with animals, and earned her cutie mark as a result.
Fluttershy lived in Ponyville from that point on, choosing to stay on the ground and open up her own animal shelter. She spent her time by herself with only the critters to keep her company for a while and focused on helping them and finding some of them suitable places to live.
Then, one day, she came across Twilight Sparkle on her first visit to Ponyville. Fluttershy was too shy to say anything audible to her, but once she saw that Twilight had a dragon she opened up to her and they eventually became friends, which introduced her to her other friends along the way; Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. Together they found out that they held the powers of the Elements of Harmony, with Fluttershy representing the element of Kindness. They helped defeat the Nightmare Moon and save Equestria from falling into eternal darkness.
After that, Fluttershy spent her time with her new friends; hanging out, helping, and being dragged along many adventures.
Key Moment: Fluttershy was taken right as she was leaving to find ingredients for Angel's food.

Oh dear, I hope I can find all of the ingredients. I can't let poor little Angel starve! Fluttershy thought to herself fretfully as she picked up the wicker basket by her doorstep and carefully closed the door to her home behind her. She had never made this recipe that her pet bunny had demanded, but she would do anything to make sure that he was happy with his food. Really, it should be no trouble to go all this way, as long as it made him happy. Just the pictured cheerful look on the rabbit's face as he ate his new food made Fluttershy feel obligated to help him. It would be worth it once she returned.
Fluttershy had just stepped one hoof over her bridge and was shyly looking around at the clear weather and chattering birds, when suddenly everything started spinning around her. In a heartbeat she had dropped her basket and found herself stumbling onto the ground in alarm before ducking in panic and covering her head with her hooves. She hid her eyes with her yellow-feathered wings. "Eep! Wha- what…?" Her voice was a squeaky whisper as she curled on the ground shaking. Was it an earthquake? A storm? Was the bridge breaking? Oh no… what if it was a monster?! She let out another frightened "Eep!" and was too scared to even look.
"Excuse me, Miss?"
"EEP!" Fluttershy jolted and tried to shift backwards at the sudden voice beside her, still covering her eyes. Well, she tried to scoot backwards, but then realized that her back hooves weren't working for some reason. In fact, they felt stranger than usual. She tried fluttering her wings a bit and realized that they were broken too. She couldn't feel them at all! Oh no… oh no…! Something was very wrong! She finally decided to open one of her eyes very slowly and raise her head from under her hooves, still trembling as she prepared to turn and flee.
"Miss? Are you all right?"
Fluttershy thought it was another pony, but then her eye focused on something tall standing beside her and staring down at her. A strange creature wearing large dark clothes, with sunglasses and shiny dark, rounded hooves. Only two hooves though, the front ones were strange and like long claws and they stayed at the creature's side rather than on the ground. The creature's face was oddly flat and its coat seemed hairless, aside from it's shorter mane.
"M-mo-mon… M-MONSTER!!!!" Fluttershy squeaked in fright as her heart pounded wildly and she scrambled to get away across the grass on all fours. Well, she tried, but then she saw that her front hooves too were now long, hairless pale claws, and her back ones were oddly bent and didn't seem to allow her to run very well along the ground. Her light yellow coat was gone as well and left her arms as hairless and pale as her claws were. The former-mare gasped and her eyes widened in shock as she continued to flail to get away; crawling hopelessly across the lawn. Where was her home? She could run and hide inside with locked doors if she could just make it safely!
"No Miss, I'm afraid you misunderstand. I'm not a monster; I'm a human." The suited member tried to explain. "No one will hurt you here. This is Tenebrae Estates." He walked along slowly to keep up with her odd crawling, which wasn't very difficult to match up with at all. A brisk walk would have easily surpassed her.
Fluttershy was hardly listening and had made it a foot further than she had tried crawling before. All the while flailing to keep going. Every time she peeked up and saw the monster right beside her still she squeaked again and tried moving faster to get away. Where was her house? Where was Angel? Where were the animals? What about Twilight or the other ponies? Couldn't someone save her from this monster? Fluttershy whimpered as she saw the seemingly endless field ahead of her. It was very difficult to maneuver with this new, unpony-like form. Eventually she just flopped onto the ground and covered her head again, hoping that the monster would think she was dead and go away.
"… Are you finished? Miss, wouldn't you like to go inside and see your new home?" The suited man tried again to address her, and ran a hand through his hair. Though he should expect this reaction, it wasn't easy to handle while remaining professional in appearance. "What is your name? Would you like some help?"
"F- Fl- Fl- Fluttershy," The girl stammered in a completely inaudible whisper while her face was still buried in the grass. Her strange light bubble-gum pink mane helped to aid as a curtain to hide her eyes from view, as well as him from hers.
"Close enough…" The man muttered to himself with a shake of his head, but covered it well with his polite professionalism as he continued, "Well, Fluttershy, welcome to Tenebrae Estates! I'm sure you'll just love it here." Without letting her try to flail away in the grass some more, the man helped her onto her feet by lightly grasping her arm, then began guiding her back to the houses.
"But- but- but… No, I really should be going the other way… I mean, I can't go there… Um… This is nice, but that's not where I live. Hello? I'm sorry Mister Monster, but I really should be going now, the animals need me… if that's ok…" Fluttershy whispered under her breath in protest and tried to cautiously turn away, but the man had his arm around her shoulder to politely guide her forward instead.
"As I said, Welcome to Tenebrae Estates."

Well… um, I'm an art student, studying in design. So, I like art and drawing and whatnot. XD I like creative writing as well in my freetime, and I prefer Rps with some sort of fantasy/sci fi in general. I've been Rping for like 6 years at least but I still am not very good at it so bear with me if my posts sound lame. XD I'm still working on improving my writing.
