Robin was feeling antsy, like he didn't quite fit in his own skin, and he had no idea how to fix that feeling. Maybe it would have been different if he'd known anything about himself, but he was running almost entirely on instinct. He still had no idea if it was good or bad that he'd come to this place, but at least he had somewhere to stay and food to eat until he figured out who he was and where he came from. He'd hidden away the gadgets that he'd brought with him, tucked them under his mattress in the dorm room after scanning for hidden cameras or other surveillance equipment, so they were waiting for him to use them just as soon as he figured out if he needed to or not.
For now, though, he just needed to find some way to occupy his time, to get rid of this itchy feeling, he'd tried reading, surfing the internet, watching a movie, nothing had satisfied him for very long. Did he have some kind of ADHD or something? He had no idea, but there was no mental exercise that seemed to be taking away his restlessness, so he'd come down to the school's gym to see if something physical could make him feel better.
As soon as he walked in the gym he was starting to feel like he was on the right track, the gymnastics equipment was just calling to him. Ropes, bars, beams, he wanted to fling himself across it all, but it was a set of uneven parallel bars set up near the end of the room that caught his attention. Not stopping to think about what he was doing, he stripped his jacket off and ran for the bars. He couldn't get his hands chalked up fast enough, running back to the start of the mats before taking a deep breath and taking off.
He leapt into the air, catching hold of the first bar and swinging himself up, letting go at the last second for that tiny brief feeling of flying.
This was it, this was what he'd been missing.
