Appearance:
Hinata stands at 5' 3" and weighs about 99 lbs. Her long straight jet black hair reaches down to the small of her back with straight cut bangs. She is commonly in loose fitting clothing with pale colors. Her favorite piece of clothing is a lavender colored hoodie with white sleeves and hood. Her body is decently developed, a little more than others in her former class, but she had issues with standing out so she hides it with her clothing. She tends to stand as small as she can. Arms close to her body and often in front of her forming a sort of wall between her and others. Finally the most notable aspect of her is her eyes. She has very little coloring in her eyes. The pupil and iris are a very pale tinge of lavender that makes them look completely white. She often wears a pair of non prescription costume contact lenses with a black pupil and a light blue iris. With the loss of her Byakugan, she now needs glasses to see which come in the form of a pair of black thick rimmed glasses.
Personality:
Hinata is polite, serene person who tends to stay towards the back of crowds and public situations. She was known in her world for her empathic nature, even though her cousin and father thought of it as a weakness. While her father's training and calling her a failure completely destroyed her self-confidence, over the years with her team she has been slowly building it back up. Those closest to her know that she is a very hard worker that continues to push herself. Because of her time with Kiba and Shino, she developed a calm nature around dogs and insects. She can be easily embarrassed when attention is brought to her.
If she isn't reading, writing, or studying, she can often be found practicing her fighting style, Baguazhang Chinese Martial Arts, which she calls Jukenpo, or Gentle Fist Art. Despite her shy nature, she is not shy when someone threatens one of her friends. With a life thrust in battles from a young age, she does not step back from physical threats. She also is used to nature and forest creatures as her primary job was to track others.

Right Up to that Key Moment
History:
While Hinata does not remember any of the details, her history has definitely impacted her personality and mind set. She does know this is not her world, but doesn't recall any differences.
She was born the heiress of the Hyuuga Clan, one of the most powerful clans of Konoha. One of the first notable parts of her past was when she was young she was kidnapped by a rival village's ninja. When her father killed the kidnapper, the rival village demanded her father's death in compensation since the two villages signed a peace treaty earlier in the day. Her uncle stepped forward to be executed instead to keep the peace. This protection of her cause her cousin to vehemently despise the "princess."
She often spent much of her free time alone, crying in the bushes, losing her faith in herself more and more. That is until one day she saw a blonde boy who, despite being treated as an outcast was working hard for acknowledgement and refused to give in to the critic and bullies. He even protected her from some of the older kids who were constantly degrading her. Even though he was knocked out and didn't know who she was, he fought for her as if she was his sister. She took from this that no matter what comes before her, she had to push forward. And she would never go back on her word.
Through school, she watched the young boy grow and grew herself. At graduation time, she hoped she would be placed on the same team as him, but she was placed with two others with excellent tracking skills. They formed some excellent bonds through their work and was soon allowed to test for promotion. During the first test, Hinata met the blonde boy again and was impressed with his honesty and determination despite being as dumb as a box of rocks academically. During the second test, her team met some truly frightening foes.
The third test was a one on on combat test. The blonde boy had to face one of her teammates and her best friend. Despite a hard fought match, she saw both of them walk off under their own power. Her instructor gave her the push to talk to the blonde boy and give him a medical ointment for his injuries. She then had to face her Cousin in combat. It was not like her friend's and crush's fight. Her cousin tore into her mentally and had her just about to quit without a single blow being thrown, however some encouraging words from her crush spurred her to move forward and challenge the more powerful cousin head on. No matter how many times she fell, she always stood right back up, just like the blond boy did years earlier. When her cousin was about to strike the final blow to kill her, all the instructors hit the floor and stopped him.
A month later, she found out in the first round of the tournament the blonde boy was going to be facing her cousin in the first round. When she found him the day of the tournament, he was having doubts about defeating him. It was her time to encourage him. When he felt better, he turned to walk away but stopped and spoke to her without turning in that cool guy sort of way and said that she was weird, but he kind of liked her that way. While she went to watch the match, she didn't get to see how it turned out because her injuries caused her to pass out.
The next two years was filled with missions that pushed her to her limits and made her stronger. She eventually gotten to a point where she was more confident of her abilities but there was always the little bit of doubt in her that held her back a little. All her work was put to the test after two years as she came face to face with the blonde boy who was away training. When she came face to face with him. the two years of yearning built up to a boiling point and she fainted again like old times.
The final big moment for her happened nearly a year later when the biggest threat to their village appeared. He had actually completely destroyed their home with just his arrival.
Key Moment: The village of Konoha was destroyed. Naruto was pinned down in the center of the crater. Pein was standing talking to him. Hinata launched herself at Pein, despite his overwhelming power. She was able to shatter two of the pins holding Naruto down, but was eventually killed. She was shifted just before she died while in the air.

A Roleplaying Shift
RP Sample:
Hinata found herself laying down on the floor of an office. Her eyes refocusing, though everything remained blurry after she was able to regain her balance. She saw two shapes behind a boxy shape. One of them moved around her and set something around her head. "Is this better?" She just opened her eyes and she could see everything much better.
"Y-yes. But where am I?" Hinata looked around not recognizing anything. The shapes she saw before were two men in suits behind a desk. There was a sense of instability behind her eyes, though it was as if she was at peace with it. A fear that was there but long gone. It was almost as if she was the walking dead right now.
"Please do not worry. You are in the community of Tenebare. Could you tell us what you remember." The suits, while having dealt with many Shifted people, were a bit worried about this one. One of them even pointed to a bit of dried blood just under her brow.
Hinata looked around, shook her head to try and dust out the cobwebs, and closed her eyes to concentrate. "Not so much. Everything just seems really distorted right now."
One of the agents sat on the desk in front of her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Do not fret. We at Tenebrae will do our best to help you remember who you are and help you get back home. Do you at least know your name?"
"It's Hyuga Hinata."
The men nod and stand up holding a door open for them. "Please feel free to explore the community. We will have a room prepared for you in a few moments." Hinata just nods and walks out, still unsure completely of what is happening. One of the suits gave her a card with a dorm room and a envelop of money that she could use to situate herself. As she slowly shuffled from the office, she looked up to the sunlight. As she walked, she could hear the sounds of citizens, feel the heat of the sun on her skin, and begin to recognize shapes. First things first. She needed a new outfit. Right now what she had on looked like it was worn during a massive battle. removing the metal piece from around her neck, she put it in a trash can and made her way, slowly, down the sidewalk to the mall.
