- Eric is incredibly difficult sometimes, and tends to operate in extremes emotionally. -
- Eric is homosexual and is very not interested in romance, as his driving purpose in getting out of Tenebrae is reuniting with the man he vaguely remembers being in love with. -
- Eric will have a hard time adjusting to a world without much in the way of popular culture; South Park is totally saturated with pop culture, and Tenebrae has been fairly scrubbed clean. -
- Eric is self-conscious about his appearance. -
- Eric's looking for answers. If you are too, he'll probably be a bit more open with you. -

First off, I want to point out how excited I am about Eric. I seriously considered apping him because I thought he'd be awesome to have on the site, so to see someone doing an awesome job of him is like, totally rad.

More in line with actual plotting: Twilight runs CAUS (Characters Against Unwanted Shifting). We're actually having a (slow paced) meeting here, which Cartman is welcome to join if he's interested. The group's set up as the opposition force against what's going on, and they've actually made some headway. I could honestly see Cartman getting into it and possibly attempting to take a leadership role (heck, I oculd see Cartman attempting a coup of some kind, to be totally honest).

It's entirely likely that Cartman and Twilight will bump heads. Twilight's likely to remind Cartman of Wendy, and I can't see that going well for anyone.

For another possible relationship, I could see something resembling a friendship developing between Kori and Cartman. Kori has an outlook and attitude that's not too far removed from Butters, who is arguably one of the truest friends Cartman has on the show, so there's a potential there. Though Kori does have a point where she'll only put up with so much.

There's also Marceline, who is Cartman's roommate. Odd as it sounds, she's actually part of the reason we were cool with your interpretation of Cartman: I run Marcy as having strong feelings toward Princess Bubblegum, and as definitely a pansexual with a slight tendency toward females. There's also the fact that they're likely to burn their house down together.

Otherwise, I've got Hiro, who is Leo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who Cartman could fight with, and Laharl, who is, again, likely someone Cartman could fight with. I'm not seeing as much in the way of obvious and/or interesting plots between them though, hence why they're getting this sort of summary thing.

Well, Cartman is definitely dropping in on that CAUS meeting. He'd probably show up unannounced, ask if punch and pie were being served, generally be an ass to Twilight (who YES! I so wanted to plot Eric with her because he'd be damn near convinced that she's Wendy unless she started talking about her pony origins. And then maybe still afterwards, because he's a stubborn weirdo), and then after the meeting, let Twilight know, begrudgingly, that CAUS is really awesome and he'd love to be a part of it. But I do think the two of them will butt heads all the time - Eric is much more of a take action first person, and I can't imagine Twilight will appreciate that, given that they need to operate CAUS in semi-secret.

And oh dear, a female Butters. Eric would probably like Kori just fine, but would spend some time figuring out how far he could push her with the practical jokes and the pulling the wool over her eye. It might be interesting if he did go a little too far at one point, and ended up alienating her, and had to try and repair things, because he's so used to no one calling him out on his shit (besides Kyle, who he barely remembers and heavily romanticizes).

I love Marceline, first off. And Cartman might be the best/worst roommate for her - they could bond over their sexualities being different from the norm, and then they can bond over blowing parts of the house up as well. I imagine them being a bit of an odd-couple friendship, where people would look at them and not be able to figure out why they're close, but when push comes to shove, they'd react similarly to things and have each other's backs. They're darker than most. XD

If we need instant fights, we can pair up Hiro and Laharl with Eric but otherwise, I like the three you brought forward. <3

[Twilight Sparkle]

It will be interesting to see how Cartman reacts when he sees that Twilight can do honest to God magic, and she's already doing some in the CAUS meeting (likely to do more sooner rather than later). We can probably leave their interaction to the meeting for now, have some kind of followup later. There could be some definite plottage in the future (CAUS is pretty much plot training). There's also some possibility in Twilight being one of the main New Shifted mentors, so she could actually be one of the ones showing Cartman around (I find those threads have a tendency to drag though, unless Cartman's already breaking rules).

There's plenty of opportunities for Kori and Cartman. I can start up something for the two to interact; there's also the open thread that Kori has going wherein she wants ALL THE PUMPKIN that could work out well for the two of them.

And we definitely need a Marcy x Cartman thread. I'm thinking a mix between moving in and possibly dealing with Meatling leftovers (we have strange plots).

I'm not sure what the Meatlings are... I might have to go find that thread... XD But I'm definitely up for starting a move-in thread for Eric and Marcy.

[Twilight Sparkle]

Meatlings are the man-shaped creatures effectively made of SPAM that attacked the houses. They set several on fire and ended up rotting in one to the point where it's uninhabitable.
