Appearance: Rachel is one of those types that definitely have a signature look. Her shoulder length, straight, raven black hair, her eyes have a purple hue to them that tells of deep hidden magic. Her skin is pale from a considerable lack of sunlight. Her outfits often consist of dark violet shirts, dark colored baggy pants that hang off her hips. She wears a gold bead that seems to hang from the point of hair on her forehead. A silver choker with a large Violet Blue Flawless Tanzanite Jewel in the center wraps around her neck. Adorning her neck is also pewter Anhk and a necklace that holds a platinum ring with a skull shape on top. She is often found wearing large silver hoop earrings that mostly hide within her hair. Her jewelry ends with a pair of stainless steel manchette cuff bracelets that cover from her wrist to the middle of her forearm and a set of five stainless steel rings on her right hand, one ring on each finger except for the first which hold none and the second which holds two. As the Demon Trigon's Avatar of Pride, she holds herself to perfect posture at all times.
Personality: The one thing that pushes her through life is the need to do well. Though this was originally to offset the evil that would occur once her father used her to destroy the world, it still continues today. She is the very model of an apathetic disposition. But this does not mean she is without emotions. Her powers were ruled by her emotions. To keep them under control she had to keep her emotions under control. It is excessively hard to break this calm, though Garfield seems to be able to come in like a wrecking ball and shatter her wall of calm. She has a generally bleak outlook. She is perhaps the most pragmatic member of the Titans, preferring facts, especially magical ones, to theories. Because of the direct tie between her powers and emotions, she is forced to be very focused, often times being found meditating when others are having fun. She is tolerant of most people, very few exceptions exist. Despite her Bleak apathetic nature, when dealing with people she tries to be as supportive as possible.
While never actually having children, she does affectionately refer to a pack of three very young superheroes as "her" kids. Her favorite food is waffles with a distant second to pizza. One of her biggest peeves is people entering her room. She will put up strong defenses to prevent this, but it seems to happen anyways. While she is tolerant of most animals being animals, she dislikes chickens and considers them an annoyance, mainly because she is allergic to them. She is uncomfortable with boys openly flirting with her. She is more than willing to let her friend Koriand'r be the center of their attention. When not found meditating, she can be found knitting.

History:
Rachel, or rather Raven, was born to the human Angela Roth and the demon Emperor Trigon. As a Cambion, or half Demon, she was also known by the mystical as the Avatar of Pride. While the first attempt to rid the multi-verse of evil proved unsuccessful for the Monks that took her mother in, she was soon taken in by them and taught their ways. The Code of Azarath. When she was around eight she learned of the prophecy that would rule and eventually destroy her life. She was to become the portal for bringing trigon to the material realm. When she turned 14 she ran to Earth.
Upon arrival, she met three super powered youths who were fighting some girl from another place. When she discovered why the girl was rampaging, she got the three boys to work on a peaceful way of stopping her. The five eventually formed a team under the name Teen Titans. For years, they worked together, protecting the city the lived in from the most unusual and bizarre threats they have ever seen, while living as five clashing super powered teenage personalities under one roof without any adult supervision. Yeah, there was no chance that could have ended badly. On her eighteenth birthday, Slade came to the team to lead them to where raven was to become the portal for the Demon Emperor.
While her friends were willing to risk everything to protect her, she could not let it happen. She knocked them out and protected them with a spell against Apocalypse. Slade took her to the point, where she was consumed and Trigon was able to make his way to Earth. She was reverted to a child and left in Hell. Through the combined efforts of the betrayed Slade and Robin, she was rescued and brought back to the world she fought to protect. Seeing her friends and enemies banding together to stop her father sparked a new hope and life into her allowing her to fully revert to her usual self complete with powers. These powers were then used to help restore the world and defeat the demon.

As the Titans flew over the Pacific Ocean, Raven decided to take a breath from Garth's constant complaining. Opening a portal underneath her, she intended to just sit in place over the Pacific so she can clear her mind, but when she lowered out of the portal, she fell a couple feet. She also seemed to have landed in traffic. Ducking out of the way in a manner Robin showed her before, she pulled her cloak around her to keep herself covered. Her magic seemed to be cut off, she looked a little different, and this entire place was unfamiliar to her. She turned to look at where she came in only to see a man in a suit with a woman next to him. In the same suit. "Ok obviously not the fashion police."
The woman smirked a little. "Said the girl in a cloak, swimsuit and boots." Raven just cocked an eyebrow under her hood. The man handed the titan her spell book. Apparently, even the magic within the cloak was gone. She reached out and took it. Looking right to them as if to ask what was going on. The woman removed a laminated card from her suit and proceeded to read. "Welcome to Tenebrae Estates. This is not the world you know. We do not know what power brings you here, but we will do everything possible to see that your stay here is comfortable."
Raven just looked perplexed as she read. Was this so common of an occurrence, they had talking points? "So what do you need me to do? It seems my magic is not functioning here." The two of them exchanged looks then looked back to Raven and lead her to a bench to fill out the forms for identification. They then gave her a silver bracelet snapped around her wrist since tonight was to be the formal. They also informed her of a loaner dress she could use to attend.
