The Outside and the In
Face Claim/PB Ryan Newman
Appearance: Minnie is well...minnie. She only stands about five feet tall with a petite build and all-around childish features. She has bright blue and and long, deep brown hair. Her skin is fair, but not entirely pale. She likes to keep up her appearance with rosy cheeks and light make-up. She’s got a smile that can make you melt and a killer look of disappointment. Seriously. Don’t disappoint Minnie Mouse unless you are prepared to face the consequences. Some people use knives to get what they want, Minnie uses a pouty lip and big eyes. And if that doesn’t work, she’ll just hit you. I wouldn’t worry too much, however, there likely to hurt your pride more than your skin.
As far as clothing goes, Minnie is a bit of a fashionista. She tends to focus on sun dresses and bows for the most part, but she has outfits for every kind of occasion. She loves any excuse to dress up, but she has days when she likes to be particularly bold and try something new. She’d prefer not to mess her clothes, but she’ll get down in the dirt if she has too. Don’t mistake her loud choices as a cry for attention, however, Minnie dresses up because it feels good...though she’s certainly not one to turn down attention.
Personality: Minnie Mouse is compassionate to a painful degree. She cares about you weather you are big, small, tall, short, evil, good, dog, cat, you name it. She wants to help and insists on seeing the good in everyone even if she’s seen them partake in unsavory activities over and over again. She can be a bit of a mother.,. She’ll bake you cookies and care for you when you are sick even if she has only known you a few hours, but she’ll scold you too if she has too. Though she’s mostly sweet and happy, she’s got a lot of sass locked away in that little body of hers. She’ll drag you home by the ear if it comes down to it, but it’s all out of love.
Minnie’s need to help others can get her into trouble, however. Although she’s not quite naive, her stubborn insistence that there is good in everyone has landed her in a dungeon or two. Not to mention she has gotten so used to taking care of other people that she sometimes forgets to take care of herself and can be a bit awkward about letting people take care of her if she needs it. She’d much prefer to give advice than ask for it. Which is extra unfortunate since she could use a lot of comfort at the moment.
Minnie has had to cope with a lot over the years, but never by herself. For as long as she could remember Mickey had been by her side for better or for worse. Although they never got married and although they certainly have had their rough patches through the years, they have always stuck together, but now...he’s not here. Minnie is only half of a whole here now that she has been shifted. She may not be handling it as well as she seems.

Right Up to that Key Moment
History:
For 84 years Minnie mouse has been an animated actress in animated films, cartoons, and shorts. An icon in both the animated and outside world having been created by the famous Walt Disney. Though she mostly participates in shows and cartoons that involve her being herself, she’s done her fair share of roles slightly outside her box as well. She is very talented, having been trained in singing, acting, and dancing. She plays the piano as well. Baking, however, Minnie is a horrid baker. Despite all the baking she has done on shows, she never actually learned how to bake. She thinks she is a wonderful baker, however, and most people seem to be too kind to alert her otherwise. In fact, she’s had so many people tell her that she’s actually quite a great cook that she’s likely not to believe you if you tell her that she is not.
Being that she lives in Toon Town, she is aware of the human world and has interacted with the people of the universe on more than one occasion, though only through a screen. She’s never actually stepped into that universe despite her meet in greets in the the parks and the way characters seemed to intermingle in Who Framed Rodger Rabbit. That was an illusion. Being shifted here will have been the first time she’s actually crossed over.
Minnie remembers almost everything and eventually will remember everything. The shift makes things a little foggy.
Key Moment: Mickey and Minnie had been fighting over his need for danger get him into trouble all the time. She had really gotten upset at him being so afraid that she was going to lose him and she left in a huff to visit Daisy just before she was shifted.

A Roleplaying Shift
RP Sample:
Minnie felt dizzy and tired and...wet. It was raining. It hadn’t been raining a second ago had it? Her body felt like it was filled with rocks and she struggled to sit up. She put her gloved hands down beside her to push herself up only to experience the unsavory feeling of wet dirt squishing between her fingers. She suddenly became acutely aware that the feeling was being currently replicated all over the bare parts of her skin. She was lying in mud. Oh. And she was wearing her favorite polka dot dress and everything!
Minnie forced herself to sit and sputtered the rain water out of her mouth. She sigh over the mess and reached up to adjust her bow only to tangle her hair in a soppy mess of hair.
Minnie froze. After a moment of trying to breath she shifted her hand slightly to find that the feeling was the same. She ran her fingers down her scalp and just past her shoulders where the soggy locks ended. Hair. Minnie had fur. Releasing a shocked sort of squeak, she rushed to pull the dirtied glove of her hand in order to get a better sense of what she was feeling, only to freeze again over the site of her hand. Five fingers and, not only that, but it was pale and fleshy and not covered it little black hairs. What was going on!? She didn’t feel like herself, she didn’t look like herself, even her legs were bare save for the bright yellow heels that poked out of the mud. Minnie was just about to reach up at feel her face when the rain ceased without warning.
Minnie jerked her head up, her hair strangely tossing about as she gazed up at a well dressed young man with a black umbrella. He...he was solid, he wasn’t a cartoon at all! She wasn’t a cartoon at all! This mud didn’t belong to Toontown! Where was she?! What had happened to her?!
Oh, uh, excuse me! Minnie called up to the man, trying to be polite through her words were rushed and worried.
Yes, Miss? He said with a kind tone and a gentle smile.
Minnie took a breath, trying to decide what to say. A Small huff of air escaped her lips in an act of distress.
Could you help me, please? She asked sweetly, looking pitiful in her soggy state.
The man gave a light chuckle and leaned down to help her stand.
Of course, Miss. Right this way.
