Face Claim/PB:
Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Tagaryen from Game of Thrones. Note that I only had Google Images and iPhoto to work with, I did the best I could.
Here's a picture from the movie (if it's allowed) for a better idea.
Appearance: Kida's long white hair and electric blue eyes often take strangers off guard, which coupled with her confident queenly stance can silence a room if needed. Strangers are often taken aback by the two cyan boomerang-shaped and one dot-shaped tattoos under her left eye. She prefers to wear her signature blue and gold clothing- in Atlantis, this meant her queen dress or princess top and skirt, but things have changed. Now, she goes for a baby blue tank top and gold sweatpants, perfect for fighting. On her neck hangs a simple yet strong cord necklace. Attached to the cord is a glowing blue healing crystal, one of the signature features of the Atlanteans.
Personality: At first, Kida might come across as aloof and agressive, though this is far from her true personality. She is quite caring and respectful if you get to know her, which, unfortunately, may not be the easiest task. Kida is extremely stubborn; not even thousands of years of trying can persuade her to give up an opinion she's settled on! That said, she will know when she is wrong and swallow her pride for everyone's good. Though usually sure of herself and her abilities as a warrior, there are times when fear gets to her, same as any person, Atlantean or otherwise. Unlike most Shifted, Kida has a basic knowledge of reality, up to 1914, thanks to the occasional visit to Atlantis from the outside world. Kida is not fazed at all by blood and gore, since many years ago, she would murder intruders on sight. Though she still feels guilt over taking a life, she is much more used to the sensation of killing someone than most other Shifted would be. Kida does not trust easily. Thousands of years have made her wise, and she can often be relied on for strategic advice. Kida is actually quite intelligent, being able to learn literacy in a very short amount of time, even if she is a bit oblivious to the environment (i.e. accidentally being called pretty).

Right Up to that Key Moment
History:
Kida doesn't remember much of her early childhood, except that everyone was happy and prosperous, including her. Then, Atlantis' power backfired horribly- long story short, there was a tidal wave the resulted in her mother being consumed by the Heart of Atlantis, a magical comet shard where her crystal comes from, before poor little Kida could even understand what was going on around her. Her father, King Kashekim Nedakh, became overcome with guilt and stopped all efforts to teach his people reading, effectively rendering the Atlanteans illiterate. One might wonder what in the world he was thinking, but the answer was really quite simple- without reading, people cannot learn anything that could be used to harm others. While his intentions were good, and the Atlanteans respected his decision, Kida knew that it was killing their culture.
Over several thousand years, Kida trained to be the best warrior she could be, determined to prevent anyone more Atlanteans from dying, even if a few outsiders did. Her skills are unrivaled- she can take down two highly-trained soldiers at once. Unfortunate people who just happened to wander into Atlantis stood no chance against its princess.
Gradually, Kida began to realize that maybe, just maybe an outsider might hold the key to recovering Atlantis' culture and former glory. She got more than she ever asked for, both good and bad, with her father being killed by a greedy Commander, Rourke, and nearly sharing her mother's fate. In the end, thankfully, everything was alright; she was fine, as were her new friends, Audrey, Vinny, Sweet, Mole, Cookie and even Mrs. Packard. Not to forget Milo, who she fell in love with- luckily, he decided to stay in Atlantis to be with her, instead of returning home to America.
Their future seemed promising- until Kida was Shifted.

Kida's head hurt. Not that she hadn't had awful headaches before- Kida had experienced most types of pain that could be imagined, what with thousands of years being a warrior and having to command guard over her entire empire and protect it from the outside world. Now, having to rule and fight, she felt the near constant migraines that her father must have gone through, bless his soul. She was eternally grateful for Milo's help with restoring Atlantis.
Thump.
Kida winced at the throbbing in her skull. She touched the crystal hanging upon her neck, while pressing the opposite hand to her temple. Nothing happened.
'This does not bode well. The crystal never fails.'
She dared to open her eyes, curious as always. She recalled Milo once saying, 'Curiosity killed the cat', and smiling at Audrey's retort, 'But satisfaction brought it back.'
A bright beam of sunlight pierced her line of vision. This definitely wasn't Atlantis, judging by her grassy surroundings. Kida brushed her hand over the terrain, breathing a sigh of relief as she found her spear next to her body. She sneezed, wrinkling her nose as the field she was lying in, maybe wheat, tickled her face.
Kida mentally slapped herself- this could very well be enemy territory, and she just alerted any potential adversaries to her position!
Crunch.
Someone was behind her.
"Kidagakash Nedakh?"
Her blood ran cold. She would recognize that voice anywhere. It belonged to her father's assassin, her captor, a disgrace to his home, a disgrace to Milo. That voice, it haunted her nightmares, taunting and sneering, threatening, stealing, destroying.
Rourke was back. He was supposed to be dead. This was definitely a major problem, but not one she couldn't fix.
Kida was up instantly, in her signature warrior stance. Her caramel hands gripped her spear, her legs in a low crouch, blue eyes flitting around, taking in the environment. Her white hair was tangled and had little pieces of yellow grass in it, though she couldn't care less. "What do you want from us?! You cannot take me again!"
"I am afraid you are confused, miss."
"I am Queen Kidagakash Nedakh of Atlantis. I am not confused, Rourke!"
Kida lunged at the Rourke-man, fear and fury blending together. He definitely was Rourke, or at least extremely similar to him, though in unfamiliar garb.
The huge man swatted her away like a fly. Kida stopped herself from falling by digging the bottom of her spear into the dirty ground, now torn up from the fight.
Kida wasn't afraid. Queens did not feel fear. Right? Not even if they find themselves in a nightmare come true.
She tried a different move, ducking down so she was level with Rourke-man's feet and going for his legs. This time, he sidestepped and scooped Kida up by her neck. She struggled against his iron grip, knowing that at her full strength, without this inconvenient headache, she would be able to overpower him. Kida tried to open her mouth to scream, but talking through a giant hairy arm was easier said than done....
'That's it!'
Kida opened her jaws and bit down on Rourke-man's arm as hard as her powerful muscles allowed her to, not stopping until he shouted out in agony with a sickening crack of his bone. She didn't stay to see the damage she had done, but she could tell by the sound that Rourke-man wasn't going to recover anytime soon.
The next step was escaping. Kida bolted forward, trampling countless innocent grasses, not knowing where she was going.
"MILO! MILO! MI- agh!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, until she felt a sharp prick in her neck, followed by two more. Kida yanked the sharp pieces of metal out of her flesh, but not before they could effect her.
"M-Milo..." As her screams faded to hopeful murmurs, Kida suddenly felt very dizzy....
