Appearance: Normally, Pascal is a tiny green chameleon that can change color. Human Pascal looks...well human. His big brown eyes are still the same eyes he had as a chameleon and still as expressive as ever. He's tall and has some muscle, and a big bright tattoo on his arm. How he got that, he's really not sure, but that's okay. He even has a crop of dark hair, which is very strange because chameleons don't have fur.
Though being a human is still relatively new, Pascal walks with a spring in his step. He's very open and expressive in how he carries himself. He sometimes has to work at getting his point across, but that's where being a chameleon comes in handy. After the shift, he still has the ability to change the pigment of his skin to camouflage himself, though this is much harder to do and the colors are pale. And camouflage doesn't work as well as it used to now that he's a human and has to wear clothes. And of course, the clothes that Pascal wears are usually dapper, just like Rapunzel used to put him in (although no dresses. Dresses are most definitely not his thing).
Personality: Pascal is a very cheerful chameleon. He is happy with his life even if he only has one friend. He really can't complain too much. Pascal is also very encouraging and tries his best to help in whatever situation he can. No matter his size, Pascal is one of the most loyal chameleons anyone would have the pleasure of knowing. He can also be a bit protective of his friends too. Once, he actually lived outside of Rapunzel's tower, so he does know that the world isn't always friendly and he will do his best to keep his friends out of trouble.
Pascal can also be mischievous and loves to play games. Hide and seek is his favorite because as a chameleon that can blend into the background, it's the game he's best at. Though just about any game is fun. But what he really loves most is being outside in whatever capacity he can.

Right Up to that Key Moment
History: Pascal was born as a chameleon in the forest that surrounded Rapunzel's tower. Of course, at the time, he didn't know who was in the tower, just that there was one randomly hanging out in the forest. One day, when Pascal was old enough to be curious, he decided to climb the tower and see what was in there. There he met Rapunzel, a girl with ridiculously long blonde hair.
Pascal hung around the tower for a few days before really meeting the girl. He watched the comings and goings of Mother Gothel in the tower and learned to steer clear of her. She didn't seem to be the kind of woman who would take kindly to any kind of animal hanging around the tower.
It wasn't until Pascal was sleeping on one of the many wooden beams in the tower that he finally came face to face with Rapunzel. Pascal, awaking to Rapunzel's face very close to his own, jumped and turned red in surprise. After that first initial shock, Pascal and Rapunzel came to be very good friends. They played many games of hide and seek and Pascal was always as helpful as a chameleon can be when it comes to chores around the small and limiting tower. But most of all, he encouraged Rapunzel's dreams of one day leaving the tower.
Both Pascal and Rapunzel's lives were forever changed when a handsome stranger also climbed into the tower. Pascal was wary of the man. He'd never been around too many people other than Rapunzel or Mother Gothel and thought that he must surely be after Rapunzel's magical hair. Rapunzel wanted to go see the lanterns and if she wanted to go see the lanterns and actually go to leave the tower, then Pascal was going to support her decision. He wasn't about to trust that Flynn Rider on the other hand. He just seemed to be devious and men with satchels had something to hide.
So they started on their adventure, Pascal keeping a suspicious eye on Flynn and looking out for Rapunzel's well being.
Key Moment: Just as the group walked into the Ugly Duckling, Pascal was hiding in Rapunzel's hair away from all the scary thugs and ruffians. The thing he knew, he was gone.

A Roleplaying Shift
RP Sample:
Pascal could suddenly feel the wind and it smelled like fresh air. Opening his eyes, he saw grass and trees and things that were not there just a moment ago. Looking down he saw a pair of feet that he didn't recognize. He jumped away, but the feet followed him. He looked down at his hands, suddenly realizing that he was staring at hands that were decidedly human and seemed to be attached to his body. The sleeves of his shirt were rolled up so he could see that he had a tattoo. It was so colorful, almost as if Rapunzel had painted it there.
Rapunzel! He had left Rapunzel with the ruffians and thugs and that Flynn Rider. She needed him!
Frantically, Pascal looked around to try and find Rapunzel but she wasn't anywhere to be found. This was bad. This was very bad. Where was Rapunzel? Where was he?
"Excuse me," a voice said from behind him and Pascal turned to look. A man and a woman stood there in suits, looking at him. "You'd better come with us."
Pascal looked at these people suspiciously. He didn't want to go anywhere with them. He wanted answers. He wanted to know where he was and how to get back to Rapunzel. What if something happened to her?
"Sir, do you have a name?" the man in the suit asked.
Pascal nodded, still highly suspicious. He wasn't sure he wanted these people to know anything about him or Rapunzel.
"If you come with us, we'll explain everything," the woman promised.
Pascal looked at the man, then back to the woman. He didn't really have much of a choice. He could stay here and know nothing about where he was, what had happened or how to get back to Rapunzel or he could go and find out. Pascal let out a huff, nodding. Then he put two fingers close to his eyes, then turned them back at the people in the suits in the universal signal for "I'm watching you".

Looking good! There's just one or two minor things we'd like to see before we go ahead and accept Pascal into the fold. First of all, if you could expand the history a little bit we'd really appreciate that. I know it's a difficult one because it's not really touched upon, but we'd like to see a little more - how did that first meeting go? What did they get up to in between their meeting and Flynn showing up? What happened with Flynn? Just a few extra details to flesh things out a little.
