Boy, did Henry have a lot of the questions. Kori could definitely understand this, but at the same time, she was beginning to understand why her friends were so often telling her to slow down and ask one question at the time. She wasn't sure where to even begin answering all of Henry's queries and comments. to further complicate matters, Kori still wasn't entirely sure if she should be confident and cool or bouncy and excited. The warring desires played across her face almost too vividly.
"I like many things," she finally managed, "and the pizza is most splendid. I like the kind with the marshmallows the best," though she'd been told that wasn't a proper pizza topping. Kori frankly didn't care: it tasted amazing, and that was what mattered. Besides, everyone knew that good food jiggled. This was just the way of the world. "I also like the hanging of the out, the shopping, the dancing, the music that punches, and the carnivals."
Kori was half tempted to add the Robin and the friends to that list, but she felt it best to be quiet. Not least of all because they were approaching the room where the movie was to be shown. "I have not seen this movie before," she admitted. She'd paused in front of the theatre, considering, "but I have seen films like this one. Now, you must be silent, or there will be the shushing."
They entered, and Kori looked for a seat. She knew that they were doing the sneaking, though there weren't that many people about. Besides, they'd paid to see a full movie. What difference did it make if they saw half of one movie and half of another? It all evened out in the end, surely. Certain of this, Kori confidently strode toward the center of the back row, which was thankfully quite open. She'd direct Henry toward a seat before taking her own. Which would naturally lead to her staring at the screen, where the adorable animals were already up to adorable, family friendly antics.
