Dakota Fanning
Appearance:
Tink has straight, light blonde hair that falls to her middle back, blue eyes, and pale, featureless skin. Her face is oval shaped with a slightly pointy chin and wide eyes. Her body type is a pear, meaning she's small on top with a smaller waist and wider around the hips. She's also pretty short in terms of human size at only five feet tall.
Tink is pretty excitable and she tends to express her emotions visibly. This means she uses hand gestures and stomps her feet a lot. She usually wears black or dark blue skinny jeans and a cropped t-shirt in some shade of green and black ankle boots with a three inch stiletto heal. While it's true that she mostly wore dresses before becoming Shifted, she finds her old attire very revealing for her new body and is much more comfortable in more modest clothes. She usually wears her hair down now or tied back in a pony with a green ribbon. It seems to have grown quite a bit in becoming Shifted, and she finds it very pretty and appealing. She has also taken to wearing bright red lipstick. This puts her lips in stark contrast to the rest of her pale face, making it more easy to see her quirky smile. It also makes her look older. Due to her height and petite frame, she is often mistaken for much younger than she actually is.
Personality:
Tink is a warm and enthusiastic person, always willing to help someone. She's very bright, although her enthusiasm can cause her to rush into things. Many people say that she has great potential if only she would stop and think first. She has often been known to be able to inspire and motivate others, even when all hope seemed lost. She can usually talk her way in or out of anything, likeif she gets in trouble, she can talk her way out of it again. She loves life, seeing it as a special gift, and strives to make the most of it.
Tink is incredibly stubborn, even when people try to convince her not to do something, she still tries anyway. She usually gets very frustrated if things don't work the way she wants them to. She's also a little bit vain, particularly about her appearance. She sometimes stops and admires her reflection when she doesn't think anyone's looking. She also prefers to wear clothes that show off her figure, as long as they aren't too immodest. She can be a bit jealous at times, especially when someone else gets to do something she thinks is neat. It's not that she isn't happy for them; it's just that she wants to do it too. She's pretty overprotective with those she cares about deeply, and sometimes does things she's not too proud of in the name of keeping them safe. She does have a bit of a problem with rules, but only if they stop her from doing what she wants.

Right Up to that Key Moment
History:
Tink, like most other fairies, was born from the first laugh of a baby. After that, she was transported to Neverland on the wind. Once in Neverland, she acquired her fairy form and also discovered her fairy talent of tinker. At first, she was happy to be a tinker, but then she learned that tinkers don't get to visit the mainland. The mainland sounded awesome, and she really wanted to go, so she tried to change her talent. Unfortunately, this didn't work to well, and she mostly made a big mess of everything. As a tinker though, she was also able to fix things back. She was finally feeling pleased and happy with her talent, but then it was discovered that maybe she did have a reason to go to the mainland after all: to return lost things to their owners. In the years that followed, Tink had many adventures. She made a magic staff for a fairy ceremony, participated in the Pixie Hollow Games, was captured by a human girl on the mainland, and even discovered she had a sister! These were all fun adventures, but the next one was even more exciting.
One day, Tink was out collecting lost things. Suddenly, she flew over something that was not a thing at all. It was a young boy. Before then, she'd only seen boys on the mainland. Neverland was home to fairies, pirates, and indians, not little boys. She supposed he was lost and that she should help him get back home. She usually had a sense of where lost things belonged, but when she looked at this boy, all she could sense was that he belonged with her. The little boy's name was Peter Pan, and she decided she would take care of him while he was in Neverland. She found him a place to live and gave him food and even taught him how to fly. This wasn't really a smart move as Peter was a very mischievous and curious little boy. It seemed Tink was always having to get him out of trouble. Eventually, more little boys showed up in Neverland, and they joined Peter and Tink in their adventures with the pirates and indians of Neverland.
Of course, Tink still had her tinker duties to take care of, so everyday she would fly to Pixie Hollow, get her orders and supplies, and go back to her new home with the Lost Boys. Somedays, the boys would be good, and she could get lots of her work done. Other days, they would get into fights with the pirates, and she almost always had to save them, so she got very little done. She also continued to fix the lost things and return them to their owners on the mainland. Now, Peter often came along with her.
It was during one such trip to the mainland that the real trouble started. Peter had gotten into the habit of stopping at one particular house to listen to a story. Tink usually left him there while she went off to do her work. One night, she came back to find Peter in the house, fighting with his shadow. Before she knew it, he had woken up the children in the house and was trying to convince them to come back to Neverland with them, particularly the young girl who Peter seemed to think would make a good mother for himself and the lost boys. Of course, Tink protested this. She didn't need more children to take care of, and she was doing a fine job of taking care of the lost boys herself. They didn't need anyone else. Peter just swatted her away though and started attempting to teach the children how to fly. They'd never get off the ground without her pixie dust though. Knowing this, Tink tried to make a break for it. She didn't get far before Peter snatched her up and shook some of her pixie dust off on the children without her permission. There was little for her to do now but follow them all back to Neverland. She sulked in her house for a while upon returning, but eventually cooled down enough to leave. That was when the real trouble started as she was captured by the pirates. They wanted her pixie dust to go to the mainland. She knew she wasn't supposed to help them, but what if they took the children back as well? She struck up a deal with the pirates. She'd give them the pixie dust, but they had to capture the children...and the lost boys too (It'd be just her and Peter again!) and take them all back to the mainland. Peter was not to be harmed though. It was a good plan to her, but the pirates betrayed her. They captured the children and lost boys, but then they used them as bait to lure Peter into a trap. A big fight broke out, and she did everything she could to save the children and lost boys. She felt very bad for having tried to sell them to the pirates, which lead to Peter being in danger. They won the fight, and she kept up her end of the deal and put pixie dust all over the ship. The pirates floated away and back to the mainland. It was around this time that the children really started missing home, so Peter took them back.
It was several years after that when Peter heard that the pirates were back and that they had captured Wendy. Feeling guilty about how she treated the girl last time, Tink willingly rushed to her aid. When they rescued her, it wasn't even Wendy, but it was her daughter, Jane. Tink was all ready to be friends with the girl...until little Jane said she didn't believe in fairies. These are lethal words to a fairy, and Tink quickly fell very ill. She almost died, in fact, and was only saved when Jane proved that she really did believe. While she was sick, the boys had been captured by the pirates, and she had to rush off to help save them. It all ended well, and Jane decided to go back home to her mom and little brother.
Since then, life had been pretty quiet. Tink finally started to feel comfortable leaving the boys to their own devices. She had moved back to be with the tinkers at Pixie Hollow and was truly contented with her duties.
Key Moment:
Right before she was Shifted, Tink was sitting at her work bench, making a basket.

A Roleplaying Shift
RP Sample:
Tink sat at her workbench in the tinkering studio. She was fairly tired after playing Catch the Fairy with the lost boys earlier and was now doing some simple basket making. The tinkering studio, as always, was filled with other busy tinker fairies doing their work. She looked up at them all and smiled brightly, feeling as though there was no other place she'd rather be. She sighed happily, lifted her hammer and --
Everything went dark.
For a moment, Tink thought she had only blinked without realizing it. She strained to open her eyes again, and to her relief it became light again. Her relief was short lived as she was startled to find herself no longer in the tinkering studio. In fact, she was in a place she'd never been. All around her was green grass and little white flowers, and she could see a forest of trees not far off in the distance. At first, she assumed she was seeing all of this from a great height. She was shorter than the blades of grass in Neverland, so of course she was flying.... Right? She very nearly screamed in alarm when she realized that she was not flying at all. She was actually just sitting on a small boulder, just sitting there and holding her trusty hammer, though it looked much bigger.
For the next few moments, the very confused fairy tried to figure out why she was so much bigger. She seemed to be the size of an average human, but how could that be? She'd never heard of anything like this happening before. Was it magic? Was she being punished for something? But she'd been behaving lately! Okay, that thing with the bees last week had been bad, but she'd done a lot worse.
Tink jumped off her boulder. She'd go see Queen Clereon. Surely, the Queen would know what to do. Tink started flying as she thought, small flowers racing past her in her speed. Queen Clereon will know what to do, and if this is a punishment, maybe I can get out of it. Really though! The bee thing wasn't that bad! I mean, yeah, some bees ended up polka dotted instead of striped...and okay, some of them lost their stingers... But that's not so bad! Plenty of humans complain about being stung. Maybe if bees didn't have any stingers, humans wouldn't try to kill them as much.
Suddenly, Tink went sprawling and tumbling over the grass, coming to rest on her back. She blinked in shock, staring up at the bright, blue sky. What had happened? Had she flown into a gust of wind or something? She sat up slowly and looked around her, twisting her neck to see behind her. She blinked, squinted, blinked again. Okay, clearly something was wrong with her vision. She couldn't see her wings. She felt along her shoulders, making sure they weren't broken. For a moment, her face went green before turning deathly pale with fright. Then she fainted.
Tink felt someone gently shaking her arm. "Come on, dear. Time to wake up." She heard a soft voice speaking to her. She opened her eyes slowly to see a young woman kneeling on the grass next to her. "You took an awful stumble," the woman said, looking Tink over. "Are you hurt?" Tink wiggled her fingers and toes. Everything seemed to be okay, so she shook her head. The woman helped her up to a sitting position. "What made you faint?"
"My wings are gone," Tink said...or tried to say. No sound came out of her mouth though, not even the soft tinkling bell noise that was the fairy language to human ears. She tried again. "My name is Tinker Bell." Still nothing. She started to sway again.
"No! No, it's okay!" The woman shouted, holding Tink steady. "Don't be afraid. It'll be okay." She gave Tink's hand a quick comforting squeeze. "Can you talk?" Tink shook her head, fat tears rolling down her cheeks. "Hush," the woman said, soothingly. "There's no need to cry. It's probably just a side effect. It'll go away soon. Until then..." The woman dug around in her pocket and pulled out a pad of paper and a pencil. "...use this. You can write, right?" Tink nodded her headand took the items.
"Okay, good." The woman said, smiling approvingly. "I need to ask you some questions. Is that okay with you?"
Tink nodded her head and prepared to write down her answers.
"Okay, good. First question: what is your name?"
Tinker Bell
"Pleased to meet you, Tinker Bell," the woman said in a friendly tone. "Second question: where are you from?"
Neverland
"Okay, now I have to tell you something. You are not in Neverland anymore." The woman spoke gently as if afraid of upsetting Tinker Bell. "I don't know where Neverland is or how to get there. I do know where to take you where you'll be safe and cared for though. You might even regain your ability to speak. Will you come with me?"
Will I get my wings back too?
"Maybe," the woman said softly. "I can't make any promises, but it's a lot more likely to happen where I want to take you than if you just stay here."
Tink looked around her, thinking. There was nothing here. No houses or people or anything else. She couldn't fly, couldn't go back to Neverland. If she went with the woman, she might get her voice back, maybe even her wings. Then she could go back home. In the meantime, she'd at least have a warm bed to sleep in and food to eat. Slowly, Tink nodded her nodded her head.
"Excellent," the woman said, looking truly pleased. Oh, but there's one more thing. 'Tinker Bell' isn't a really good name for where we're going. We can combine them and make them your last name, but you'll need to think of a proper first name for yourself."
Tink thought about what the woman was saying. If this was like the land where Wendy and Jane and Peter had once lived, she had to agree that 'Tinker' wasn't really a good name. She looked around her, trying to find inspiration for her first name. Maybe Casey? Or Sarah? Polly? None of them seemed to suit. Then a name floated up to her from the depths of her memory. Maybe it was just a name she'd heard once or maybe it meant more to her. Whichever, it would be her name now. My name is Lillian Tinkerbell, but please call me Tink. She wrote on the paper, feeling a sense of finality when she'd finished.
