Kori was covered from head to toe in what appeared to be every color of the rainbow. To be slightly more accurate, there were brilliant splotches of brilliant color scattered at various points along Kori's body. In some cases, it was clearly a matter of the paint dripping down, like the streaks on arms or the splatters across the chest. In other cases, it looked like nothing so much as Kori dragging her brush over some part of her body to test the color (which is precisely how it happened). There seemed to be a few other splashes that looked like paint had just exploded and landed upon Kori. Even Kori wasn't quite sure how those got there.
She took a step away from her project, which just happened to be nearly the entire wall stretching from dorm ten to dorm two. Weaving around the various rooms were what appeared to be a partially completed mural. There seemed to be rainbows and bright lights and what looked like smiling, happy people holding hands and possibly singing. There was also what looked for all the world like a giant caterpillar frolicking through a purple forest. Kori seemed especially proud of this.
"It does seem to be quite pleasant," she said, mostly to the air. She tilted her head this way and that, scrunching up her nose as she analyzed the various colors and bits. "I am not sure that it is good...."
She wiggled back and forth a few times, before reaching down, grabbing a paint brush from a can. She raised it, thought better, took a step back, and stared. What she really needed was a second pair of eyes, preferably from someone who was slightly less covered in paint, but who, perhaps, understood the joys that came with being in such a state.
