Face Claim/PB
Seth Green
Appearance:
Steph is a bit on the smaller side. He also visibly lacks muscle build, in fact a small bit underweight upon arriving to Tenebrae. Past as Megatron’s favorite punching bag (aside from any Autobot he could get his hands on that was) manifests itself in an amount of hardly visible, however still present, burn marks scattered across his skin; the old marks don’t appear to bother him at all, though. His hair is a lighter brownish color and not in any particular style, as he still is getting used to the concept of even having hair and rarely does anything other than shampoo it. Typically, he’ll have something in the way of 5 O’clock shadow, but shaves once a week (this tends to come with nicks). His eyes are pale.
Typically, he’ll wear a decent vest or overcoat, usually red in color. He usually has a grey undershirt, and occasionally a yellow tie. His pants are almost always pale grey. Every now and then, he’ll have blue fingerless gloves on, as well as some rather feminine-looking blue boots. Steph attempts to keep appearance, or at least his color scheme, the same as he was as a Decepticon. He’s considering dying his hair black as well. His more casual attire often consists of black or red hoodies. Aforementioned black hoody more often appears when Steph is feeling like sneaking and creeping about. If you look close, you might catch him with mascara on.
Steph definitely does NOT give off an heir of honesty. Crooked smirks are his specialty. Sly grins of not-so-nice teeth don’t make his case much better. He holds his beat up head high, even when he probably shouldn’t. There’s something about the way he trots around that just screams he thinks he deserves to be at the top. His pride, coupled with the fact that he’s a straggly twerp, doesn’t make him look any less punch-able.
Personality:
Steph is a treacherous coward, plain and simple. He has his own agenda and he doesn’t care who he needs to step on to reach his goals. If you’re in his way, he will let you know it. Persistent to say the least, he will continue to get up no matter how many times you shoot in the face with a Fusion Canon. He is not afraid to make his opinions known, especially since he believes he knows better than everyone else. Steph firmly believes that it is his destiny to become an all-powerful leader, and he will reiterate that again, and again, and again, and again, and again. Rarely will he consider someone on par with himself, but he is capable of respecting another. Some can even admit his ambition and intelligence is admirable. Steph can be dangerous at times, but usually he’s just annoying. His methods are often sneaky and underhanded as can be. Steph is a sniveling coward and will kill you in your sleep rather than face you. It’s not hard to get him to cry and beg for mercy. Some of his antics can even be amusing in how pathetic they are.
To outsiders, his whiney exterior is very off putting. Unless something impressed him right off the bat, Steph is disrespectful to those he’s not familiar with. In fact, he can be prompted to find some as targets for his tricks and will even class others as mere play things; such individuals he’ll scare and harass akin to a cat with a mouse. He reacts to stronger people by trying to act dominant in order to get them to obey him. However, he will quickly become fearful if threats are turned on him. Steph will especially be scared of those that remind him of Megatron.
However, in the past, he’s been capable of genuine friendship. To this day, he remembers it fondly – up until said friend shot him out the sky and joined the Autobots. Steph finds it hard to understand any genuine good deed done for him, as it had not happened for a very long time. Being trusted is something he finds confusing. Perhaps, there’s a small shred of good left in him.

Right Up to that Key Moment
History:
Steph was created Starscream, among a race of mechanical alien beings whose home world, Planet Cybertron, is non-organic in nature. His body type, a Seeker (loosely defined as any jet robot with wings on either side of its back) , was common amongst Cybertronians, but he is widely regarded as the most infamous of the lot.
Even then, he was noted for his ego. Before the wars, he was an established and respectable scientist. He was good friends with Skyfire, a fellow bot of science and work partner for several missions. During one venture to the ancient Earth during one of its ice ages, Skyfire happened to be lost in a thick blizzard. Not willing to give up on his friend, Starscream remained on Earth for a long while, searching for him. Unable to find Skyfire, he returned to Cybertron. Soon after, the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons picked up. In a weaker state due to losing his friend, Starscream found himself easily manipulated into joining Megatron, commander of the Decepticons. Since then, his mental state had gone from bad to worse. Since becoming a warrior, he eventually became decorated as the Decepticon’s air commander. He learned the code of the Decepticon way of life and to take what he could when he could.
The Seeker had made himself a true scoundrel fallowing in the tracks of his leader; Megatron had created a monster. Very quickly, the ambitions of the Air Commander were realized. He was not satisfied being a part of the group – he wanted to be IN CHARGE of it! The one obstacle standing in his way was Megatron. Soon, he began prying at the far stronger faction leader. Often, it would end badly for him. The beatings and constant assurance that he was an inferior being only made him more persistent.
During an attack on the Autobots, the battle was taken to space. Megatron was determined to finally rid himself of Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. The Decepticon ship closed in on and the villains forcibly boarded the Autobot's cruiser. As the two sides battled, the ship crashed onto a planet, sending all of the robots into stasis for millions of years. During the year 1984, the dastardly Decepticons awoke first, a short time before their rivals. They ran off in order to investigate the planet they landed on, and to develop a plan to get back to Cybertron and win the war. It turned out they were on planet Earth, inhabited by the organic ape-beings, humans (“fleshlings”, as Decepticons were fond of calling them). As the Decepticons planned to leave Earth to conquer their home world, they were intercepted by the Autobots. While their ship attempted to leave, Starscream backstabbed Megatron, attempting to take over himself. However, the Autobots managed the thwart their evil plans, sending the ship down and escaping before the ship and the Decepticons sank to the bottom of the sea.
Using the crashed cruiser as a new base, the Decepticons stayed on Earth – the new battleground between the Autobots and Decepticons. And many marry adventures and shenanigans occurred there on Earth; of that involved Starscream included him attempting to kill Optimus’ girlfriend, being strangled by a huge anaconda, running into trees, traveling back in time then glomping Megatron, crying like a pussy, being transported to a planet where he was proportionately toy-sized, using a slingshot for no reason, being trolled by Skywarp, becoming a crocodile chew toy, being trolled by merpeople, running a night club, actually becoming leader for 20 seconds, being trolled by Astrotrian and Blitzwing and betraying Megatron at least once a week (that’s about the jist of seasons 1 and 2).
During one early evil scheme, Starscream was reunited with his friend Skyfire after the Decepticons rediscovered him in the ice. Him and Skyfire were briefly on the same side before Skyfire realized that his friend had changed. Now no longer agreeing with the morals of his former friend and not wanting to be a Decepticon, Skyfire retaliated, completely PWN'T Starscream and joined the Autobots. After that, even though he was defeated and probably a little heartbroken, Starscream apparently regained his interest in science – researching and pointing out a danger to Megatron (who promptly ignored him) in their next scheme. And so was Starscream’s life for a long while, trying to overthrow Megatron by all means possible.
By the year 2005, planet Cybertron had been taken over by the Decepticons. The Autobots, however, were planning to take it back. As a small party of Autobots were sent from a Moon Base, they were attacked by Megatron and his men and brutally killed. Starscream used Megatron in his laser gun alternate mode to help in the seizure. The ship was taken and brought to Earth, where the Autobots had a base city. Once it was spotted that the evil robots were approaching, the plundered ship was attacked. Starscream was shot at and fell down comedically. The Decepticons attacked the base and the Autobots, of course, fought back. Starscream, while chasing a couple stray Autobots, got stuck in-between two shifting plates of the city as it changed into a defensive mode. After shooting his foot to get free, the attack continued. When it seemed hopeless for the good guys, Optimus Prime showed up and whooped a good number of ‘cons before confronting Megatron. The two leaders clashed in battle, as Starscream no doubt watched like a buzzard. After the fight, both leaders were horribly wounded and had to be carted out. Starscream mocked Megatron while he was down, kicking him (it was so adorable), and ordered the others to move out.
On their way back to Cybertron, the Decepticons were alerted that Astrotrian wouldn’t make it there if they didn’t “jettison some weight”. Starscream took his opportunity and purposed all the wounded ‘cons be thrown out; including Megatron. After giving his rival the most evil of smirks, the red Seeker promptly tossed the former-leader out. A fight broke out on the ship for dominance, which Starscream hid from. Once all the other Decepticons were worn out from fighting with each other, he took the chance to take over. Upon arriving back to Cybertron, Starscream took the time to relish in his victory – cape and crown and everything! However, his coronation was interrupted by a strangely familiar Decepticon; a strangely familiar, very angry Decepticon who happened to be named Galvatron. Starscream didn’t quite realize that he was looking at a reincarnated Megatron before he was shot.
Key Moment: Right before his death in the Transformers Movie [1986]. Just seconds before the beam that would have vaporized him made contact. Starscream might have expected death but not suddenly being transported somewhere else.

“My fellow Decepticons!” A sharp rasp cut through the airless vacuum of space.
Starscream lifted his arm, striking a pose for his subjects to see the glory of his sexyand totally not tacky crown and cape.
“As your new leader I-“
He found himself suddenly cut off as a pale purple space ship suddenly just let itself on in. Several of his Decepticon brethren jumped out of the way as the ship slowed a small bit while lowering over the ground. An individual jumped out as the aircraft transformed into his robot mode. The both of them approached the new leader’s throne, hate apparent in their red optics. Starscream snarled, frustrated. Who invited them? Furthermore, did he even know these fools?
“Who disrupts my coronation?!” The shrill-voiced Seeker demanded.
“Coronation, Starscream?” The second purple robot spat, apparently the leader of the two, “This is bad comedy.”
The robot with the cape and crown lowered his stance a small bit. What? As his crimson optics became questioning, Starscream felt an ominous twinge. But, could it be so? Looking at the new purple Decepticon, he told himself that he didn’t look like his old leader. Bewildered, he inched a bit closer.
“Megatron? Is that you?” He asked.
“Here’s a hint.”
The Decepticon with the crown watched at the robot bellow leapt up and transformed into his alternate mode. Seeing that he turned into a gun alerted Starscream further, but he was a bit too confused to think to move out of the way. A bright beam of energy came right at him. Panic hit him in an instant as he realized he was in danger. Disorientation hit his legs and shot up through him like a sharp blow. The world about him – his home planet Cybertron – turned to blackness. Feeling as if he were on air, the leader-for-thirty-seconds crumpled to his side. The ground seemed strangely soft and warm.
He thought he was hit, or even dead, but when he opened his eyes, there was blue atmosphere and white clouds. The former-robot jolted, bringing his hand to his chest and panted heavily. Pale eyes were wide like saucers as he was in a state of full panic. A shrill yowl shredded the air as the man flopped onto his back. He squirmed as if in pain, believing his was shot. Only after looking completely ridiculous did he realize he was okay. Still breathing heavily, he moved to sit up. Tilting his head, he took in his surroundings. Why was he back on Earth?
“No. No!” He shrieked, “No! I can’t be here! Where are the other Decepticons!? Where’s that purple robot? I’ll destroy him!”
The terror wore off quickly once he realized that someone was coming closer to him. It was a pathetic fleshling! But…why was it so big? He snarled and lifted both of his arms, clenching his fists. Now that they were in sight, he gasped and brought them before his eyes. Those weren’t HIS arms! Where were his Null Rays? Usually, they were attached right to him. They were gone and apparently so was his armor.
“Now calm down,” Same a sickeningly sweet tone from the black-clad woman who softly drew closer.
“ARRRGGG!!”
The former Transformer did no such thing. He hollered at the top of his lungs and leapt to his feet. Crouching, he fixed his eyes up on the sky. Moving his arm to his sides, he pushed off the ground and told his thrusters to take him away. The horrible howl was cut short when the dirt smacked right into the man’s nose. The woman in the black suit looked down upon as he lay on his face on the ground that he not-so-gracefully flopped down into.
“There’s no reason to be scared. You’re-“
“Silence, fleshling!”
Upon lifting his head, he moved his arm to his nose, that was leaking hot sticky fluid. He uttered a few pathetic whimpers as he moved himself to his feet. All the while he could feel the disgusting flesh that coated him jostle around. His fingers tightened a small bit and clawed at the skin of his face. While he was repressing it, he knew he was no longer in his body. When he looked at the woman, whose expression had not faltered, he squinted his eyes and pouted like a little girl.
“Are you feeling calmer now?” She questioned.
Her only response was a grumpy snort and some snot-and-blood mist on her face.
“Much better. You’re coping just fine. We’ll take good care of you, Mister Stephan Schmeling.”
“I am Lord Starscream – LEADER of the Decepticons!” The man snapped, lifting his Null-Ray-less arms, splaying hunks of droll on the ever-unflinching woman, “Behold! My aerial skill!”
He turned his back and crouched once more. But this time, he wasn’t preparing for direct flight; he was prepared to try transforming. He wanted so much to deny that he was a human, and he suffered for it. Once he began to twist his body parts as he usually would, a wave of pain shot up from his EVERYTHING. A pained shriek soon fallowed as he collapsed back to the grass. One of his oddly contorted knees jammed up onto his stomach, knocking the wind out of him and sending him silent. The sorry excuse for a human remained curled up, shivering in pain. High heels approached as the ever-diligent female bent a bit to get to his level. True to his robot-self, the villain began to sob.
“No. No. No. Why? I was so close. I’m leader. Leader,” A small shrill whine came from the man.
“You’re going to do just fine here. Now what’s your name again?”
“I am Starscream; leader of the-“
“Mister Schmeling?”
He hesitated.
“I’m S-S-S-Stephen,” Came a defeated sob.
“Yeah, you’ll be okay,” Came a reassuring purr as a hand patted his brown hair.
The strange little man was helped up and Steph was led to his new dwelling.
