Daphne had just arrived at the Estates today. She hadn't quite expected to be forced to stay here, but she got a house, so it wasn't too bad. And there was great shopping here. There were way too many shops for the amount of people living here. And a whole lot of staff as well. They were everywhere. But anyway, Daphne had gone on a shopping spree. She needed new clothes since she was without all her outfits except the one she was wearing. It was really lucky that she still had her purse, which had had several credit cards and a few hundred dollars. The credit cards hadn't worked, but dollars were universal. And the staff had also given her some money for new clothing after her orientation.
Daphne had bought all kinds of clothing while she was out. It was about time she branched out from her constant purple, but she had still bought enough purple clothes to have something in every outfit. She had had to buy the cheap clothing, but it all would still look wonderful on her. And she had gotten some wonderful new accessories and make up. It was a good thing she got a whole room of her own to put it all in, there was quite a lot.
Daphne unlocked the door to her house and pushed it open. She was ready for a little relaxation after her long shopping spree. But as soon as she opened the door, she dropped everything. "Oh my God! What happened to this place?" she practically screamed. The furniture was pushed off to one side, and it looked pretty cramped despite the fact that it was well organized. But the real terrible thing was the other side of the room. There was matting down and a hanging flour sack. It looked like a disaster zone! "Housemates, explain!" she yelled, not even finding out if they were home first.
