~Alfred F. Jones~



Hetalia - America - Hot Dog Stand Worker

Character: Alfred doesn't remember anything about his history, but he does know that he's probably the best thing since coca-cola. He's a very happy and exuberant person with a real mischievous streak. If you can put up with him for long enough, he'd be happy to be your friend.

Relationships: America is known by just about everyone in the Hetalia canon, either as a friend or an enemy. He's not exactly aware of these relationships right now, or all the various intricate relationships built up over the years. But if you tell him you're his friend, he's probably going to take you at your word.

Plot: Alfred is most interested in having fun and getting to know people (and eating lots of food). He wants to meet new friends, mostly avoid enemies, and let everyone know just how amazing he really is.

Justice League Unlimited - Huntress - Teacher

Character: Helena doesn't really get along with people except when she's trying (like with her students). It's not an act, either; she's brusque even with her friends. If you're the kind of person who doesn't mind a verbal beating every day or can keep up with her in a fight, she might just start to respect you enough to try to open up. Don't break her trust or get on her bad side, though, since she holds on to grudges.

Relationships: Currently Helena is on uneasy terms with her housemate Meg, and she's made semi-friends with some of the other people at Tenebrae. She needs more friends, though, to outweigh the enemies she is likely to make soon.  A steady boyfriend might not hurt, either, instead of her usual one-night stands.

Plot: Helena is most interested in getting home. She is not working with CAUS, but she is on friendly terms with them and shares her information with the group. She mostly works on her own, but she might be convinced otherwise if someone proved they were worth partnering with.

~Henry Charmant~

Cinderella - Prince Charming - Welcomer

Character: This "Prince Charming" has spent his life living up to his parents' standards of goodness, and that has stuck in the face of a gritty reality. He's not sure how to live in this real world, since his usual royal self seems strangely out of place, but he's determined to do his best and help everyone to the best of his ability.

Relationships: Henry is one of the leading members of CAUS and has made many friends through his efforts to learn about Tenebrae and how he might get home. He also might have made an enemy, and he appears to be gathering admirers almost daily. Currently, though, he's only interested in building friendships.

Plots: Henry desperately wants to go home, so he's working hard to gather information for CAUS, which he sees as his best chance of getting home. He already has a fair amount lined up in the romantic department, almost against his will. With learning about this world, trying to find a way home, and juggling a personal life, he doesn't have time for much else.

~Iroh Huoshan~

Avatar: The Last Airbender - Dragon of the West - Tea Shop Worker

Character: Kind and generous, Iroh likes to help people through friendly advice and nice cups of tea. He believes in the importance of preserving harmony and encouraging growth, as well as protecting the rights of others. The quickest way to get him fired up is to hurt his nephew or anyone else he cares about. The quickest way to get on his good side is to invite him to dinner.

Relationships: Iroh's most important relationship is with his nephew, Zuko, whom he sees as a son. However, Iroh is quick to build friendships with other people, and he has even been known to flirt with the ladies on occasion. He is also used to dealing with enemies--reason with them if possible, and if absolutely necessary pound in a few manners.

Plots: As long as he and his nephew are safe, Iroh is content to stay exactly where he is at. If he were to discover that there was danger or that people were being treated unfairly, though, he would be willing to step out and help. Iroh is happy to help other people advance their own stories, but he feels as though his own path is pretty well set, and he likes it that way.

~Rainbow Dash~

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - Fastest Flier in Equestria - Bartender

Character: Rainbow Dash is loyal to her friends and quick to defend anyone in trouble. She does tend to get a big head, and she is pretty sure that she is the best thing on four legs. Whatever she's doing, she wants to be the best at it and will work hard to make it happen. She's a pretty friendly pony, especially if you acknowledge how awesome she really is.

Relationships: Rainbow is on very good terms with all her friends from Equestria, and she's joined up with her friend Twilight and would be happy to see any of her other Ponyville pals. She's still learning about all of the people at Tenebrae, and so far she's gotten along with most of them. Once she gets settled in at work, we'll see how things change.

Plot: Rainbow Dash is interested in getting her wings back and seeing her friends, but if those things could happen without going home she'd probably be content to stick around. She is a member of CAUS because her friend Twilight is the leader, but she is more interested in her new job at the bar. She is hoping her new job will also help her meet more people.

[Twilight Sparkle]

Hey Penny, not that we don't already has all the threads together or anything...

I'm thinking having Helena meet with Twilight before she and Henry get their big meeting thing together might be a good idea. Twilight has a thing for authority figures, and Helena represents that for her. Plus, it melds well with Helena's plot, getting her linked up with the "get outta here" group.

Also could see something between Helena and Kori working out. that's based more off the closeness of their respective canons than anything else. They seem to nearly be opposites in character, but there might be something to that as well.

and I desperately want to throw Laharl at you... but I honestly can't think of anything constructive, unless you want Henry to look awesome by beating up the brat <.<

[Henry Charmant]

I agree that getting Helena together with Twilight is a good idea. Helena spends a lot of time at the school, so we can easily have them run into each other there. And I think that we should try to get with Shini to put Helena, Robin, and Kori all together in a room--easily a classroom--and see what happens. Mostly because I'm not sure Helena and Kori actually cross canons, but they both know Robin (who hilariously remembers neither of them).

As for Laharl...I can think of some hilarious interactions with my next planned characters, so maybe hold on to that for a little while.

I can make a thread for Helena and Twilight as soon as you'd like, and if we can get Shini on board then I'm up for the DC thread, too. And then my other apps will be up soon...it'll be great.

It would be awesome if you wanted to go ahead and start up the Twilight x Helena thread. I'm so used to starting threads that I had actually just figured I would.

And I've no qualms about having a trio thread, though I'd want to put it after the initial Kori x Robin meeting. I'd think that having Kori find out that this isn't the Robin she knows at the same time she finds out that she may or may not know this other woman would be too much for the poor thing, who's already gonna be more or less overloaded by everything.

And yes, I can definitely see potential between Laharl and at least one of the characters you're working on (as well as the obvious pairings with another of my chars). So we can always wait till then.

Because you totally need some plottage and stuff to look forward to when you get back...

First, I demand a thread with Alfred. I'm not sure which of mine would be most fun to pair him with, though I lean more toward Marceline or Laharl at this point. The latter would likely try to kidnap Alfie, while the former would likely flirt and tease.

I'm also thinking another one x one with Charming is in order. Possibly something with Twilight involving the whole CAUS thing. Could also do something between Henry and Hiro, who likely have a lot of moral guidelines and stuff in common (this will also let me have Hiro pass along what he's beginning to find out about the suits and stuff). There's also, again, Marceline potential, especially if Henry's confused about any of the females in his life.

And we def need a thread between Twilight and Rainbow, likely involving their attempts to live together, which will likely be a chance for me to write exasperated, strung out Twilight and stuff. Actually, a followup to the thread Twilight's got going with Jasmine would probably be best: Twilight got a little beat up, but she's gotten back the ability to move things with her magic, so that'll give the two something solid to talk about besides just squabbling over the rooming situation.

And if you're still thinking about a trio thread between Robin, Kori, and Helena, I'm thinking we're in a good place for it. At the risk of sounding totally shallow, I need someone to help ground Kori before she gets all skippy. Plus, it could be cool if the trio got together to try and stop one of the silly things that's happened (like, I dunno, giant robot or something).

So many plots! You know you want some-a that!

I just went through my list, and it looks like most of my threads are ending very soon, bringing me only to six threads. That gives me room for a good ten more at least.

For Alfred, how about I throw up a thread somewhere and earmark it for you? From there you can choose which of your characters you want to throw in for maximum plottage.

I DEFINITELY want a thread for the ponies, especially now that they're settling in. There are plenty of things for them to talk about--I'm sure it will be good for them to get each other completely caught up and vent some of their anger. You can start this one up or I can.

Henry's been attracting just about every woman he threads with. It's getting a little ridiculous. So since he's already got a lot of drama in that area (upcoming; he doesn't realize the impact he's made yet), how about we hold off on him and Marcie? I think it would be a good idea for him to meet Hiro, especially since it will help you deal with some of your plot stuff. We could even have them practice fighting together, now that Henry's got his own sword. I fully expect Hiro to whoop his butt, but it should be fun to watch.

I agree it's a good time to put together the hero thread. We should talk to Shini about that, and see if there are any goals we want to meet in the course of the thread (should someone go into mental trauma, should there be extreme fighting, etc.). At least we don't have to worry about the drama that would have come from these three meeting in DC canon. Nobody slept together in the animated verses! Giant robots are definitely a potential, though.

Do you want to start two and I'll take the other two? I've got an idea for Rainbow Dash and Twilight, and I will need to put up the Alfred thread (or you can join the open one currently open, if interested).

I did consider taking the open Alfred thread, but the only one that's still free isn't one that my chars are all that situated to spring on. I really wanted to throw Marcy at him, because I definitely need more Marcy threads (she's sitting at one active and one open atm).

Sounds like you're good to start our pony thread, and they've definitely got loads to talk about (come to think of it, the Laharl x Rainbow thread should be coming to a close pretty soon, huh).

I can definitely whip something up between Hiro and Henry, unless you want to throw Henry at Hiro's open thread (he's got one in the woods).

and I can hash out the details with Shini about the hero thread tomorrow (or all three of us can, if the stars align and we're somehow mysteriously all on at the same time). That way we can hash things out. I know she's in more or less the same place you are, with several threads wrapping up. I also really, really want to get some more of the strange happening stuff happening.

So, to sum up:
Penny does: Rainbow x Twilight; Alfred x Somebody (likely Marcy)
Fate does: Hiro x Henry; starts groundwork for Kori x Helena x Robin

*blinkblink* Henry has a...roommate? *rubs eyes* Well this is unexpected!

Looks like we could have some very fun dynamics going on. I do have to warn you, as Prince Charming, Henry is liable to fall for any Disney princess. (Of course, if a Cinderella shows up, that's love at first sight, all other cards off the table.) Even if he's not completely in love with Belle, he's probably going to like her and see her as someone who needs to be protected, especially from lascivious types like the Ice King who is living with them.

At the same time, he will be completely scandalized if he ever sees Belle in any state of undress or clothing that he feels is inappropriate, which could just include a low-cut collar. He's a little sheltered.

I would love to see a housemate thread go up. Do you think it would be better with just Belle and Henry or leaving it open to everyone in the house? And do you have a situation you would rather see (something that could leave a bad first impression v. a normal scenario)? And do you have any goals for your character that I could help with? Henry is my most open character, and I am perfectly happy to play with his plots in order to help other characters out.

That idea of him possibly falling for Belle would work so well. See Gaston and Belle are going to get together in this world (well as soon as Gaston kind of changes into a better man like Beast does in the film, so I am so down for a bit of flirting between Prince Charming and Belle until his Cinderella arrives).

It would work out so nice since Gaston will have a love interest on the side with tinkerbelle, which will make Belle jealous (again after he has become a nice guy) and so Belle wouldn't mind the flirting one bit. Maybe he'd be a bit protective of her when he first meets Gaston and can sense that Gaston is not the most charming of guys.

As for the thread, I don't mind if it is open or just for them and I can go either or on that. I think I'd like a good impression with Henry as per the goal of Gaston being jealous and getting those two together.
